- I am self-employed and make numerous phone calls daily through my desktop/laptop as well as my cell phone. Dialpad makes it easy for me to place my calls as well as return calls with the simultaneous ring on desktop and mobile. The data analytics are great! And the price is wonderful. I haven't had any problems reaching support - my account manager sent me customer support's phone number and they were super helpful! A+++ app, service and support

- It's great until it's not. There is no one that you can call and speak with if you have a problem. You have to send an email. And then, its' hard for them to get in contact with you because you're having trouble with your phone, remember? In the meantime, you miss customer calls or they get a prerecorded message from Dialpad, that does not identify your business.

- I was initially impressed by the app. It has a lot of potential if they choose to make it work. The pricing is something else. For it to work well in business you will need to add each user as an operator. For a staff of 5 that is $100/month to start with. Then if you create departments, you will add $7/month for each. As you try to set up the auto-attendant you will see your cost starts adding up fast as you create departments, teams, and so on. I definitely would not recommend it for a business. For a single user it might be okay.

- Has a lot of potential but the software is loaded with bugs. I reported the bugs several times over my 1 year with them and they became less and less friendly to the point of customer support completely ignoring my concerns with the app messing up my Google Contacts. So I jumped ship to another provider.

- OK, as a telecom professional with over 30 years experience I have the opportunity to try just about everything. If you are having call quality problems with the desktop or chrome apps, CHECK YOUR QOS SETTINGS, AND YOUR NETWORK. If they are not ready then your calls will suck with all VoIP providers. The mobile apps work good as long as you use the carrier option. I did recently order a desk phone just to test and I have to say I am disappointed. With all the great VoIP phones out the only one compatible is the Obihai brand. I got the 1032. The display resolution is subpar and the screen is not a touch screen. So you have to "navigate" via a wheel on the face of the phone. If they could use the superior display on the Polycom VVX series then they would be making a step in the right direction Currently they also have an app for the ipad, but not an android. The Ipad version works good but again you need to have your network setup correctly to really do it right.

- The service I love. The Chrome extension, not so much. Loads when it wants, not when I want. First had problems on a Win 8.1 laptop. Now I can't load on my office desktop. Makes it hard to bill clients for calls.

- Frankly this is the premier VOIP platform to beat. Good luck running and gunning with another platform. Simply put offers MMS, SMS and video calls. Support is quick and response. I am an IT consultant so I know a few things. Zero issues pitching this to a new client on Monday.

- PLEASE READ THIS AND TAKE IT SERIOUSLY. Got App Signed Up Made first call and was interrupted by my security. My security system with it's tracing ability reported back that the call had gone through 3 different third parties besides DIALPAD before connection. Fortunately for me the security system blocked all connection and interrupted my call. Upon receiving full report I could see that a total of 5 third-parties in 3 different countries were attempting to link in but were unsuccessful. MY ADVICE IS TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP.

- This service stinks, if you want to go out of business because you can't call your customers--sign up. Tech support here is SLOW and then some. I highly doubt all of the positive reviews here, this is not even close to being ready for prime time.
- John Donea
- It has a lot of issues. Like: 1. During a phone call it automatically stops with a message to "Switch to other devices". 2. When I call somebody, it doesn't show the person I am calling, it shows just after the person has responded. 3. Sometimes I hear the person I talk to with interruptions, it's just not a pleasure experience. 4.I have no idea how, but sometimes I call myself, and even I send me an voicemail. So embarrassing for you "Switch". You better fix this issues, 'cause if you don't, you will lose your customers.

- Five stars since people seem to be rating the app and the service. We've been through a number of VoIP service over the years and Switch has by far the best audio quality with the fewest issues. The app is pretty good but I'm sure it'll improve over time. We've had a couple of minor issues with some parts of the UI but nothing to do with call quality or dropped calls. The main feature I miss is the ability to select output speakers in addition to the microphone like you can in Google Hangouts. Overall a high quality and flexible phone service with responsive customer support and decent apps.

- App itself truly suck. Chrome and Desktop app all of them suck. Only PRO I can say about this service is they are cheap compared to other competitor, other than that, their product is incomplete. VOIP quality is below average. APP doesn't support answer/end call button on bluetooth headset. Right click in the app is useless as there's only "Send Logs", "Inspect Element", and "Reload". You can't select multiple call history that you want to delete. No FAX support.

- I waited a few weeks to really get to know it before I reviewed it and so far, I am really liking this service. The price is very competitive but more importantly, the quality has been nothing but excellent. I love the click to dial chrome extension! I use it everyday with my CRM for prospecting and it works flawlessly. You can record calls, add calls and transfer calls etc. Its been very good for my business so far. I was with ringcentral for 4-5 years and this webapp is much easier to use and just works better. So to summarize, excellent voice quality, love the chrome extension to dial out and the pc app is perfect! As a bonus, these guys also created uberconference which I never knew existed. Its free up to 10 people and I've been using that almost everyday too! So far, loving Switch and their companies! 1/21/2016 Update... Unfortunately, I just moved back to my old carrier. There were just too many issues with call quality. When it was good it was great but when it was bad my customers complained. In fact, many started calling me on my cell because they didn't want to deal with talking to me on the business line. Anyway, I really wanted to love it but it just wasn't there for me yet. There are a lot of positives with Switch! As a google business user, it integrates very well with google apps. The app is simple to use and love the click to dial feature. The service dept is responsive and wants to fix the issues. I will definitely try it again in the future!

- We have been forced to give up our phones and use this pathetic product as our business phone. And it is a disaster. The audio quality is so lousy with noise, artifacts, audio holes that I have had several conversations where I had to give up because I could not understand ANYTHING. I had to call on my private cell phone. The worst thing is when you check all the 5 star ratings this app has gotten then a big majority of them are written by people that work for switch.co (verified by looking up their names in Linked in). Pathetic garbage!

- App is constantly dropping my calls. The incoming call window sometimes is just an outline with nothing in it. No useful integration with Google Apps that I can see. Switch desk phones can't transfer calls. Voicemail options leave a lot to be desired. Mobile app jacks my phone calls. I hate Switch and wish my company would go back to RingCentral.
- Mike Butash
- Sadly I could never even get the desktop app to work, as it incessantly chose to use the wrong gapps account, and never gave me the option which one to use. I've tried private mode, only logging in with one account, and it always insists on binding to the wrong gapp account still. Please fix, it might be cool if working, and really hate paying for broken services.

- I really like Switch and Uberconference. However, the biggest problem I have is that they do not allow you to choose the default sound device in either app. I use Chrome as my primary browser. I use it to work with documents, listen to music, and browse the internet. I also use it to make and receive phone calls via Google Hangouts. This works well because I can tell Hangouts to use my USB headset while the rest of my computer, Chrome included, uses my desktop speakers. I can have telephone conversations without stopping my music or having random advertisements speak over my caller - because my caller gets a dedicated audio device. This is how Ventrilo works, this is how Teamspeak works. This is how Google Hangouts works. This is how every Softphone available works. This is not how Switch works. Fix that problem and my review goes to 5 stars. I definitely consider this a bug and not a feature request. You can live without a missing feature - I can't use this soft phone without this device support. Other than that the app is great. The messaging feature is insightful and when I used it to speak with support it worked well.

- Da Bomb!! I talk about it so much that even my sister is getting their Dental office set up with Switch.
- Michael Chang
- I love being able to take calls from my computer and switch it to my cell phone when I'm running out of the office. Also, the mobile app means no need to carry around multiple phones which is a pain. Now I can manage all my work and personal communication on a single device!
- minesh patel
