- Try to sign in, it sends an email with a verification code BUT there is no way to actually put the code into the extension! It just throws a small window with a pink background saying "device verification required" but you don't have a place to enter the code itself!

- I echo all of the below recommendations, and I'm glad to see that they have now implemented the search box focus by default on extension load, thank you! I will also add: - Favorites should always be at the top, or at least it should be an option in preferences, that is exactly why they are favorites! - For logins that have a multi step/multi page process, like Google where you enter username and then it takes you to a second page to input your password, it would be helpful if Bitwarden remembered which account it just filled and automatically rotated that suggestion to the top of the list so that it autofills with the password of the username you just picked. Use case: Imagine you're a social media manager at a large agency that has 200 Google accounts in your vault, I can't tell you how irritating it is to have to manually scroll back down through 200 Google accounts to find #87 that I JUST selected from the autofill field or the extension instead of Bitwarden being smart enough to remember that choice. - On a related note to above, I don't know by what logic Bitwarden orders the suggestions, but it's none that is useful when you have a large number of accounts to scroll through, I can tell you that much. When you get past 10 - 15 suggestions, the algorithmic choices might as well be random - just make it alphabetical or something for God's sake, at least then it would make sense and be useful as such.

- After every site log in, I get the popup asking if I want Bitwarden to save the password from the vault it just gave me to log in with... aargh! The new dropdown format has further truncated the names of many sites. This was already a problem in the existing extension with some site names, particularly where a site has multiple entries for different site logins - it now means that for such sites, every name looks the same in the dropdown because only the common main site name is visible... I have to use search to get the uncluttered long name display. Having search results displayed so differently from the auto-fill list is disturbingly inconsistent. The solution (already requested) would be to allow the dropdown width to be adjustable, or auto-adjust to the displayed content width. The passkey feature got me into a loop, opening a new passkey window each time round - I had to use a password instead ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Just created an account on a new website and the Bitwarden extension generated a password for me, copied it into the password field, and asked me if I wanted to create a new Bitwarden entry. I said 'Yes', and nothing happened - it wasn't saved. I tried several times but Bitwarden Beta wouldn't save the entry. Switching to the old Bitwarden extension, I had to generate and enter the password myself, but when I asked it to save the new account, it was saved as expected.

- Passkeys stopped working around 27th November 2024. Before they worked fine. On the old Bitwarden version, there are no issues with Passkeys.
- Fredrik Forséll
- Mostly a step back. Less annoying in web forms, but the too bloated layout and too many clicks to get the password or OTP entered, or to create a new account

- It's change, little good mostly bad Bad - Search bar no longer auto focussed - Auto-fill button gets too much attention (Most of the times you don't open the extension to auto-fill as that works in-field, so it shouldn't get so much) - Suggestions mixed with Cards and Identity, please give them their own dedicated places back. - Search and header should be combined like in old version, uses way too much screen estate - I MUCH preferred the old Vault working, having it combined with the suggestions and needing to use drop-downs under the search to look in folders is terrible UX. Good - Clicking on an item opens the item, instead of triggering auto-fill in the previous version. Huge plus for me. Honestly, just keep the old UI, increase a few paddings, give it some slightly rounded corners and take the only good in this version and migrate it to the old version. Please don't make this the standard.

- Too many clicks to get MFA codes and some site names truncate. Not a good beta. Hope it improves.
- Kevin King
- This version is a step backwards. The passkey stuff doesn't work reliably, there are more clicks to get a MFA code. Yeah, it's nice looking but it's slowing me down.

- Overall I like the new interface, but definitely needs to have the 3 items listed below by Shawn for an actual improved experience: 1. Auto focus cursor on the search field when extension is opened 2. Single button to copy username, password and TOTP code, like in non-beta extension 3. Launch website button
- John Beranek
- Agree with all of Shawn's points. I do like the ability to quickly see which collection (or collections??) an item is in, though.
- Shawn Beachy
- A solid start, but there are some QoL issues. The overarching issue for me is that everything just takes more clicks than it used to. 1. When the extension is opened, the search field is no longer auto-focused. I need to click it. 2. There is no longer a single button to copy the username, password, or 2FA code. Instead, I need to click "copy" and then select what I want to copy. 2 clicks instead of 1. 3. No longer a single button to launch a website. I need to click on the item, scroll down, and then click the button to launch the website. 2 clicks + scrolling instead of 1 click.

- New Beta is Rocking. The team did a really good job with the migration.

- I'm a bit surprised that Bitwarden took so long to come around the corner with this manifest v3 version. I was immediately surprised by the considerable increase in performance, especially when calling up a passkey, and then above all the integration of Bitwarden into the login forms directly in the website and not just by right-clicking and using a sub-item in the context menu. This feature has actually been known from the competition for years. I will continue to test the beta and report back
- Bernard Sheppard
- Apart from biometrics not being available as this is in the beta track, works as expected.
- Dmitry Novikov
- The first beta, but it just works as nicely as the released version.
