- Stops other extensions from being able to control the filenames of things they download, as well as blocking Chrome from displaying the download notification. Doesn't even have to be enabled for the site you're on, just having the extension installed will do it.

- To the tonec & chrome dev team Why the earlier v2 module is latest v6.42.42 from 24th July 2025 where this latest v3 module is outdated v6.42.33 from 23rd April 25? If the v3 module is already launched then 1. This should be the one having the latest version updated 2. the older (v2) module should've been discontinued and removed from chrome web store to avoid confusions

- There is a bug. After turning on this plugin, the "Download Content" in the Chrome toolbar does not work. You need to manually click "Download Content" in the menu bar. It works normally after turning off the plugin.

- this manifest v3 extension is better than mv2 extensions because there is no special changes in its version and one function is limit that i like it very most

- The extension works well for capturing and accelerating downloads with IDM — no doubt about its core functionality. However, it completely disables Chrome’s native download bubble (the one at the top-right) even when IDM doesn’t intercept the download. This is a real issue post-Chrome’s new UI updates. Many users rely on that bubble for quick access and tracking of download progress, and the extension breaking that functionality creates confusion and inconvenience. 📌 Suggestions for the developer: Please provide an option in the extension to allow Chrome’s native download UI to function when IDM isn't involved. Better integration with modern Chrome UX would make this extension much more seamless and user-friendly. Looking forward to an update that balances IDM's power with Chrome’s default experience. Thanks!
