- It is throwing an error here third_party_upload_content_script.js:183:22. I'm trying to work on some stuff locally in Canary Chrome and this is blocking me. Please remove until it is fixed. Update 2025-08-22: I'm not exactly sure what the extension is doing... but I can guess from the name :) Anyway the 5 stars is for the team that is working on the extension. I had an issue and they were prompt and engaging and the issue was addressed in a few hours.

- This thing is absolute trash. Please, for the love of god, allow me to disable this when writing via overleaf. The continual popups are killing me.

- Often when I use VS Code (+vim extension) in the browser it disrupts my work, because it pops up every 10 or so seconds. I assume vim extension periodically checks the content to understand if the external clipboard buffer is available. But this pops up even if nothing changed in the clipboard. I would rather prefer if no content changes is detected in the clipboard, just silently skip the popup.

- This is so annoying when you regularly use a Chromebook loaner. Sign in, check for updates, reboot, set the incognito setting, reboot. Hope your account didn't get auto-wiped from the Chromebook. Check again. Set the setting again (why doesn't it ever stick, or get set per account?). Reboot again. I understand the desire to watch my every move at work, but I'd also just like to get to work, and be able to use incognito where needed.

- I often find my tabs frozen after this runs. I have to fully close the tab and reopen a new one to recover. In the most recent case, I accidently mis-clicked some highlighted text, causing it to drag and drop onto its own page. The IP Protect briefly flashed and then the page broke. Not a fan.

- Pops up when pasting in the terminal, disrupting input/typing. No idea why it's even active for the SSH extension as it's not a regular "site".
