- Dear MS, you started to use new URL https://outlook.cloud.microsoft/mail/ for OWA. But it requires additional configuration that cannot be set by browser policy and require update of the extension manualy by user. We need automatic solution because of 350000 devices need this.

- Everyone else who has reviewed this has said it either doesn't work or it slows down other app extensions/ apps or creates some kind of chaos instead of doing it's described job. I agree with all the above. Take it out the back and put it out of its misery.

- Microsoft Edge Version 143.0.3650.96 (Official build) (64-bit) And NOT working. ----------- Edited: After a Remove/ Add works again. Maybe the updates are not auto-collected...

- Like the others, this did not work. I'm on Windows 11.

- Fails to work with EDGE on MacOS26, even with extensive troubleshooting and reporting issues to enterprise business help desk.

- Giving this three stars because it is a pain to setup. Anyone having issues, you have to go to the extension options and manually add your domain for what web outlook you have. Mine was outlook.office.com so I added that and then restart. It will work after that.
- Ryan
- Doesn't work, if a second component is required it sure would be nice to know what that might be.
- Claudio
- funktioniert bestens. ich musste jedoch, nachdem ich das Add-On installiert hatte, in Outlook (Web) nochmals auf die Fehlermeldung klicken. anschliessend Fenster aktualisiert und alles funktionierte.
- Votaw,
- I couldn't get it to work either...wasted my time.
- Lukutin,
- Amazing! Love it! Doesn't work.
- Daniel
- Webmail still refuses to encrypt or sign, but prompts with a red banner including a button that says "Install S/MIME" but does not actually do anything. You might think a Microsoft extension for a Microsoft browser would work with a Microsoft website, but alas, you'd be a fool for doing so, as I was.
- Sarah
- Does not work!
- James
- The app most definitely works for verifying digital signatures on emails. It requires installing a second component as well. I would suggest opening a support ticket if you have trouble.
- Danielle
- DOES NOT WORK!!!!!! I installed this and I still get the same message.
- Brian
- It doesn't work. MS Edge still asks you to install something extra, and none of it works.
- Petr
- Vůbec nefunguje. V Outlooku se to tváří, že stále není nainstalované.
- Robert
- No way to install on an air gapped network

- does not work

- Outlook website says you need to install this to use S/MIME. After installing this it still says you need to install it.
- Christie
- Doesn't work for the entire Marine Corps for every scenario (i.e., on prem and USMC imaged/personal machines remotely). That's over 170K users! Why even have a web version of Outlook if you can't sign or encrypt/decrypt an email? It obvious from the ridiculous amount of negative user reviews over several years that Microsoft couldn't care less about this security issue.

- Doesn't work
- Christian
- This extension does not work.
- Stemy
- This extension (and the Outlook desktop app) works great when properly configured with an infrastructure that supports S/MIME signing and encryption. Users reporting that the extension does not work have not configured it correctly. Currently supporting it just fine for about 700k users.
- Salama,
- This stupid extension breaks things rather than fixes them, would've uninstalled if I could
- Todd
- Works great for me. No issues
- JOSEPH
- Works completely fine for me in Edge browser. I am using the last version: 20.20.514.1 (May 19, 2020). Have you set the S/MIME options? Check: Microsoft websites, Other work or school domains. Then add the domain to the list you trust: For example: webmail.apps.com
