Session Alive

Session Alive is a Microsoft Edge add-on that helps you stay signed in on websites that automatically log you out after a period of inactivity. It quietly keeps your session active in the background, so you can step away without losing work or having to log in again.

🧩 Main capabilities

• Background Keep-Alive (AJAX mode)
- Sends lightweight background requests to a page you choose (for example, your dashboard or account page) to prevent session timeout.
- No page reloads, no lost unsaved changes — just:
1) Set the trigger URL
2) Choose an interval
3) Save the rule and open that page in a tab

• Foreground Auto-Reload
- For sites that use JavaScript-based idle timers, you can keep the session alive by automatically refreshing the active tab at a fixed interval.

• Smart Auto-Stop
- Background mode: stops automatically when server responses indicate the session has ended.
- Foreground mode: stops when you navigate away from the trigger URL.

• Notifications
- Optional browser notifications let you know when a keep-alive attempt succeeds or fails.

• Simple rule management
- Add, edit, enable or disable rules from a dedicated settings page.
- Quickly pause any rule without deleting it.
- Switch between background and foreground modes depending on the site’s behavior.

🔧 How it works
