Dictionary Lookup

If it's gonna fetch left-wing propaganda from google dictionary anyway, then what's the point of this as a separate extension? Might as well just use google dictionary extension.

I love this extension. It works perfectly for me, it's quick, doesn't mess up, provides at least a basic definition for every word I've tried it on. All that said, I wish it had an additional feature. I think it would be handy to have a link to search Wikipedia for that word, somewhere beside the word itself, maybe beside where the audio file is linked. It can just say "Wikipedia" or "Search Wikipedia", and it'll open a new tab showing the search results for that word in Wikipedia.

It is all good, but there is something irritating for me. It is common for me to lookup a new word but there are some unknown new words in the definition itself, so I double click on those words but the definition box reopens above the current definition box. I will end up scrolling up a couple of times so I lose the position of the original unknown words. I would prefer much if the new definition box opened in the same position where the last one is open.

The dictionary itself is great but the words that show phonetic spelling are scarce despite the Wiktionary page having them available and also it doesn't specifies the accent of each spelling which is really confusing

There's a problem with the extension: frequently when I open Chrome, the options page for this extension automatically opens in a new tab. It's not useful at all, it's just an annoying tab I have to close all the time. If it weren't for that, I'd give 5 stars. It seems to only happen after I restart my computer (I have Windows 10) and then open Chrome.

Love it but: 1- Save button in settings is just in a weird place! Who puts the save button at the right edge? I have been changing settings and wondering why it wasn't working until I accidently saw the save button lol 2- Please make an option for the bubble to go away without animation (fade). Thanks for the great extension!

I loved that it shows the pronunciation of words which is a plus. Also the ability to search any words with keyboard shortcut is also lit. But Pop up action should be instant, instead of fading in animation. And also For some words synonyms does not appear. Overall it's great and one of the best out there.

This is exactly what I wanted -- an extension that will show me _multiple_ definitions when I double-click on words on a web page. Works great on my Mac! Thank you for making this, Max!

It's not working. It never did for the past year. I click on a word and nothing shows up.

Have you thought about porting this over to Edge? I have for myself but restarting the browser results in it breaking because it isn't signed. I think Edge users can benefit from this as there currently is no extension of its kind available

Does only seem to pull English definitions from Wiktionary. Does not work for other languages. This is counter intuitive because Wiktionary contains a lot of information about a lot of languages.

I realized that this extension interferes with the proper loading of some PDF files and causes them not to load at all.

No longer will I have to copy-paste words onto a separate page. Just alt-click and definition appears. Perfect.
