This simple extension automatically lets you know if a donation to your chosen charity is available as you shop online. As you shop, we’ll alert you when a donation is available from the site you’re shopping on. It’s a quick reminder, to help you be a smart shopper and to collect free donations for your cause.
With almost 100 retailers (and growing!) and over 2,000 active causes, To a Cause want to help you to remember to collect free donations for your charity every time you shop online. Remind will let you know when a free donation is available while you browse and shop online, via a little notification showing on each page along with the To a Cause badge. As an example:
-You buy a pair of $100 headphones from a store
-We'll get a $5 as a commission for sending you to that store
-We give you $2.50 for you to donate to any cause you want. We take the other $2.50 and use it to make our product better.
Never miss a chance to collect donations for your charity with this free and easy to install extension.
How it works:
See available donations as you search - When you search on the internet, shops and sites that offer a donation will have an easyfundraising badge.
Shopping at your favorite retailers – If a donation is available, you will see a reminder to activate it.
Shopping at Amazon, eBay and Expedia - Donations are available when you shop at these sites, you just won’t get a reminder. To activate donations through these sites, make sure to click the ‘e’ to search for them before you shop.
To a Cause’s Donation Reminder will not slow down your computer and is not harmful to your computer in any way.

I started this project to combine my interest in tech and product development with a mission, namely to help nonprofits and charities raise more money.
I thought it would be interesting to integrate things I would do anyway (such as shopping online) with an outcome that could help others. I landed on To a Cause, where whenever you buy something online a portion of the commission we receive for giving a store traffic is donated to a cause (get it?) you care about.
