I was loving this app for months BUT the reason i'm giving it 2 stars is starting about 2-3 weeks ago, my account was being disabled by instagram, saying there was "suspicious activity" so no biggie they made me reset my password, it was back working... then 2 days later same thing, now they wanted to confirm my phone #, i did , it was working ..... 2 days later, same thing with the password.... this went on and on for 2 weeks.... I had no clue what was going on.... so I decided to disable the downloader for instagram app.... ever since its been fine no issues with instagram... I WOULD LOVE !! to re-enable it I loved the app... but it was just to much BS... maybe its just verion 573

Von der Funktionalität her ist die App natürlich super toll. Hat auch sehr lange zuverlässig funktioniert. Nur habe ich jetzt mittlerweile schon den DRITTEN Account bei dem ungewöhnliche Aktivitäten festgestellt wurden. Das kommt immer wieder und ich muss mich immer wieder bestätigen. Aber da durch die App immer wieder ungewöhnliche Aktivitäten festgestellt werden, kann es passieren dass Instagram plötzlich den Account LÖSCHT! So ist es mir jetzt halt schon 2 mal passiert. Ich habe sonst keine Zusatzapps benutzt und auch nicht gespamt! Es kann also nur an dieser App liegen. Fazit: Wenn ihr euren Account behalten wollt - FINGER WEG!!!

Hey, I've used this for over a year and it's been great. The best one out there for batch downloads and stuff. But for a couple of weeks now, I've been getting logged out of Instagram and getting an error message "Confirm it's You to Login. We notices unusual activity from your account so we've logged you out. Follow the next steps within 30 days do we can try to get you back into your account before it's disabled". Which is just checking "I'm not a robot" and changing my password. But it's annoying cause everytime this happens, I have to change my pass to something different. Maybe something change on Instagram that triggers this? Any way to circumvent this sort of thing? I recommended the extension to a friend and he's been getting it too. Help, please!

Don't use this on a active account, at minimum it will as you verify yourself via phone number, at worse you'll be banned. If you have a alt with nothing on it you're fine.

I really love this extension. I just wish it would let me download all of the content on my instagram account instead of having to download one at a time.

This was a really awesome extension, but sadly i've had my account suspended 6 times in one week alone, requiring phone verification/email verification to get it back each time, AND a password change. Finally realized it's probably this extension (which sucks so much, because this was incredibly helpful, and i've suggested it to so many of my friends who use desktop insta for work stuff).

This has been a very useful and convenient extension until the past week or so. Now, whenever starting my Chrome browser, Avast brings up a warning telling me that it blocked a malicious URL (stats.script-protection.com/). I tried to check that site but Avast blocked it saying it contains malicious malware. This is happening on three different computers as soon as I open Chrome. I completed a virus scan and nothing untoward showed up. I researched the error and many users reported the the problem disappeared when they uninstalled this extension. I don't know if the extension was hacked or the creator made a purposeful choice to add this to the extension. Hopefully the creator will respond to this review and explain what is going on. Hopefully this can be fixed and I can go back to using the app. Until this issue is resolved, I would warn anyone thinking about adding this extension to their browser that this extension contains potentially malicious code and you should find another extension or app to download instagram photos.

Instagram account got suspended twice "Stating suspicious activity from your account". I think this extension is doing something in background.

I've used this extension for a long time and loved it, but unfortunately Instagram is now suspending accounts because of it. I've had my account suspended for "suspicious activity" twice this month. I finally got a hold of someone on a support channel and they informed me that a browser add-on was causing it. This is the only extension I have installed that has access to the Instagram website. 5-star extension, but no longer okay to use on the website.

La aplicación en si es una pasada, cumple con todo lo que necesito, puedo descargar fotos videos e historias de cualquier cuenta. Fantastico! PERO!!! llevo una temporada que cuenta de instagram que inicia sesión en el chrome con esta extensión, cuenta que a los dos dias Instagram me avisa de que se ha intentado un acceso fraudulento y que mi cuenta puede estar en peligro haciendome cambiar la contraseñá. que están haciendo?

Great app, very useful. Would be great if the security was tightened though. This app is a malware fiesta!
