• (2025-04-20) Keith Hudson: I am looking for an SMS app that will let me sometimes do group texts, sometimes send individual texts to a group. It seems PulseSMS used to allow this. Now, it seems to be missing, and as Dennis Jaffe reported on Mar 9, 2024, there seem to be serious issues with the current log in process. Even after paying $39 for an annual subscription on my phone, I still cannot install the Windows app because when I try to do so, I'm given a message that I must firs sign up for an account for the "Text from any device" option in the navigation drawer of the phone app. "Your subscription has expired. Please resubscribe on your primary device to continue sending an receiving messages across all your devices."
• (2024-03-10) Dennis Jaffe: Maple Media delivers customer disservice. They are rude, unresponsive, and incompetent, and possibly dishonest. I *love* the app, originally developed by Luke Klinker. Years ago, it was, and it still remains, a brilliant app. But I somehow was logged out of the app, without my doing so myself. I can't log back in. I've tried everything a few dozen times, at Maple Media's direction. Nothing works. Many attempts to download the desktop app to my windows computer have failed. It can no longer be added to my Chrome browser. And I still cannot log back into the Android app. I have a legacy lifetime app that I purchased several years ago. Maple Media has advised me to follow links to download the app from the Google Play Store with some special code they've given me -- twice. It failed both times. The phone app says, "Subscription found -- Welcome back." But login fails. I've tried changing my password, but it won't let me. I cannot delete the account because that can only be done if one is logged in. This has been going on for six weeks. I love the app. There's nothing else like it. Maple Media is lousy. Interesting that the app hasn't been reviewed at all in more than 2 years. Maple Media seems to have abandoned this terrific app.

After using PulseSMS on multiple platforms for at least a year now, it is obvious to me that the development team uses their own product in their daily lives because the rare bugs that come up are solved quickly and every detail seems to be thought out very carefully. I highly recommend to anyone that uses texting for work because it allows you to use your mobile device or desktop application or browser extension to communicate easily and even schedule your responses!

On top of it all, the auto-response happens to be the #1 utility I have been needing for the longest time. When I have full conversations with existing customers without having to even use my phone has been a LIFE-SAVER for productivity.

Its seamless functionality across devices is very practical and once you begin to use it you will not one to be without it.

Tries a handful of apps and Pulse was the best for me. Purchased lifetime subscription a day after trying the free trial. Love it.

Like any program, it has had a few hiccups...but Luke will fix those issues promptly. I use this program multiple times a day for regular communication with co-workers and friends, and without having to veer away from my PC to my phone to respond to messages, man it's nice. And the sync between devices happens within seconds. Nice program. Highly recommend paying the lifetime price- well worth it!

• (2018-07-24) Tsf Tsf: After using it for a week, I signed up for a year (probably will sign up for "life-time"). Increadibly useful if you spend a lot of time on a desktop and don't want to mess with your phone. By the way it works great on Linux.

• (2018-01-26) Jonathan Kelly: Works as advertised. If you are getting double notifications - you probably have enabled notifications for the pulse SMS website - just turn that off once you have the plugin installed.
