• (2023-05-04) Caterinia Lawrence: It's great when it works, and for more than a week it isn't working for any email except Gmail. It doesn't work for Outlook, AOL, or Yahoo mail. Please fix it. Many other users have stated their issues here, and oddly, the extension hasn't been updated. So until this works right, I'm only giving it three stars, and only because it worked right up to about a week or two. If it's not fixed very soon, I will drop my rating to one star. Yesterday's update didn't help. First of all, I had to uninstall and reinstall, but then it only notified me of some of the emails, but the worst part is that when you click the extension, it doesn't open the email. This apparently is any ongoing problem. Please fix this.

• (2021-09-17) James Utting: This is one of very few Chrome Extensions which can check multiple email accounts, I currently have 3 email accounts Gmail, Outlook, icloud mail and this extension recognises them all easily. My only complaint is that it does not refresh the count of emails in your inboxes automatically which that has to be done manually. This is a rather strange omission as the other extension published by the same publisher includes that function. Please update this so we can have that function soon.

ONe problem: Works great in windows 7 ultimate, but on my new laptop using windows 10, in the "options" section, it opens the panel with all my email accounts, (mine are all gmail) in a row, with checkboxes, but when I click the "save" button, the panel just stays open, the "save" button grays out, and in the little icon on my toolbar, that has a drop down of all my gmail accounts when I use windows 7, in windows 10, does not drop down or populate the list the with same gmail accounts. What can I do? Thanks!

• (2017-11-13) I use x-notifier neo for yahoo mail, it works very well. The alert sound is nice. You do not have to log in like some others. I am very pleased with this little extension. If you use yahoo mail, this is the problem solver !
• (2017-11-03) I just switched over to X-notifier Neo from X-notifier because Gmail is no longer supported there. So far so good. Super easy to use, just Login to your email accounts in Chrome and X-notifier Neo will detect your accounts and add them for you automatically. I couldn't ask for a more simple, straight forward extension. Thank you!

  Allegedly this extension was updated yesterday, but it still doesn't work on all the sites I had mentioned in a prior comment. Yes, I updated the extension on my browser.

  I use Google Chrome. I used to be able to mark a Gmail as read or delete it from the popup. The buttons are there but do nothing. I never had this option for Yahoo mail but that's not a big deal. This quit working a few days ago. Not sure if it's due to updating Chrome or what. It was very handy and I miss it.

I don't need to know that there are unread messages in my mailbox (I do that intentionally); I just need to know when there are NEW messages. How do I do that?

  If I get a notification for one of my Gmail accounts in Chrome, but I'm in an Incognito window, it will try and open it in that window (despite Gmail being automatically logged out in Incognito). It's not a big deal, but the original X-notifier forced all notification clicks to open in a normal browser window, and it'd be nice to have that feature here too.
