Uncover Harassers
Description from store

Find out if a person is accused of sexual harassment before you promote their work or benefit them in anyway. This simple Chrome Extension scans a webpage & highlights the names of influential people — politicians, actors, media personalities — who have been accused of sexual harassment. Not only that but it also goes one step further and gives you a short snippet of information about the accusation which is revealed when you hover your mouse over their name.

Install it and share it to play your part in supporting the #MeToo movement. After installation, try searching for a famous accused harasser's name (try James Franco) and you'll see the extension in action.

Features:
- Highlights the names of harassers.
- Gives you information about the accusation with the link to a relevant news article.
- Total Names: 221 / Men: 218 / Women: 3
- Covers American, Indian and Pakistani celebs.

Sources:
- The New York Times (United States)
- Livemint (India)
- Parhlo (Pakistan)

I like the concept and all but I recently found out this extension dramatically increases load times on some webpages, such as https://www.youtube.com/, and completely freezes some webpages, such as https://steamdb.info/freepackages/. I don't know if this is due to a bug in the creator's code, or just a necessary downside of scanning an entire webpage's text. Either way, it is unusable in its current state.
