Email Sender Check Extension
Description from store

Have you been the victim of an email scam or is something a little strange with an email you received?

Get this as a Chrome App to launch the Email Sender Check site to check on any email domain to see if it can be trusted.

The main purpose of the project is to stop SPOOF Emails of domains harming the recipient.

Don't get caught by email scams using a SPOOFed domain. We'd love you to encourage organizations to implement the free technology by sharing this app or the check result if you are like it or believe we should be free of SPOOF..

The Trusted Sender project began by trying to provide a simpler way for email recipients to identify if the email and the associated sender of the email can be trusted (visit the app). With so many different email applications being used, users find it difficult to know if the email is actually from the perceived sender or not. In addition it was important to give visibility over the email practices of the sender especially to see if the domain has been protected from SPOOF.

In 2017 we only permitted DMARC compliant domains on our both our transaction and campaign email services. It became apparent that more was needed to help organizations reduce the risks they face from email SPOOF and to build a trusted and reputable email domain.

Finally, a useful extension to check if people emailing me care about the protecting the security of their domain to keep me from spoofers. If someone has protected their domain, then any email you receive from them will be authentic.
