Simple plugin to download video/audio from smule website.

Description from store A simple extension which adds a download button to Smule. So you can download video/audio files directly from Smule website. File will be downloaded with track name and artists(singers) name , so that you can handle them easily. Please Note : Don't click multiple download buttons at the same time. Please click download button and wait till it starts downloading then proceed with the next one. Otherwise smule may consider it as an illegal activity. Update ------ All existing issues resolved. -------------- Privacy Policy -------------- Do we disclose any information to outside parties? We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. (2019-03-09) The download button does not appear on any of my duets. only appears next to other users' recordings of songs that I've uploaded. The screenshot of the suggested use shows that a "download" option should appear next to the time stamp of the duet, yet it is not there.

(2019-02-07) Hi Tintu C. Raju, I downloaded the Google Chrome version of Smule Downloader on November 5, 2018. From November 5, 2018 all the way until January 13, 2019, I successfully downloaded exactly 160 different videos directly from the website Smule. I downloaded the newest version of the Google Chrome version of Smule Downloader, (Version 2.18) on February 7, 2019, but, it's now impossible for me to download any videos directly from Smule because the "download" link is now nowhere to be seen whenever I view any videos or any pages on Smule. The newest version of Smule Downloader that is exclusive only to Google Chrome really needs to be fixed. Sincerely, Erik Raether

(2018-09-08) Nathaniel Brusch: This extension does what it says perfectly. No complaints there. However, Chrome seems to run very poorly (slowly) with it downloaded for me, even when it's turned off but not deleted in extensions manager. It seems to be the cause of Chrome taking up alot more Memory in Task Manager when I look at GC's activity. If you could find a way to make it possibly less taxing on computer Memory usage (and possibly CPU as well) then it'd be a perfect 5 stars for me Thank you for creating this tho

Hi, I have downloaded this extension. But not seeing download option in smule recordings. Is there any setting I need to change to see this option?

Hello, I have installed the extension and (occasionally) will see the red DOWNLOAD word appear next to my recordings, but when I click them and am taken to sownloader.com the pop-up to save the file is always the audio only version and not the video file? How do I fix this? I dont see any options for this anywhere... Thanks, Grady

I apologize, it shows a download link however upon clicking on it, the link opens no page(s) no starts any download? Upon right clicking on the link, I select "Download Target" and a dialog window appears but just has a generic name with no filetype. If I go ahead and download it Chrome just says: "Failed - No file" I REALLY want to utilize this, what can I do? THANK YOU!!!! (ahead of time)
