Easily embed images into WorkFlowy
Embed images into WorkFlowy by pasting an image url.
(Don't have google Chrome, read the note all the way at the bottom)
Usage:
1. If you haven't already, signup for a WorkFlowy.com account.
2. Then to embed an image, just paste an image URL straight into Workflowy
(See the screenshots on the left for clearer instructions : )
Important Note:
WorkFlowy Images works by taking any URL that ends in .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, and .bmp and displaying an image for it.
Therefore, the following image URLs should work if you just paste them directly into WorkFlowy:
https://67.media.tumblr.com/avatar_4f34146efb15_128.png
https://a.wattpad.com/useravatar/TeresaCakies.128.89197.jpg
For images that don't have the above those file endings, like say http://bit.ly/2aD78gM, you can embed it with Markdown flavored tags:

Don't Have Google Chrome?

- (2020-08-01) Nico Greenarry: Despite the bugs below, this *is* a very useful extension. It's not quite as easy to use as I'd like, but the ability to display images in Workflowy is appreciated. Only the markdown syntax works for me. If I paste an image url like this: https://i.pcmag.com/imagery/reviews/05DPnEKZBRJ8SU9Iaq3qV2Y-5.fit_scale.size_1028x578.v_1569476087.jpg ...then no image is displayed. I have to wrap it in the annoying markdown syntax: ![](https://etc). So instead of images being a copy/paste affair, I have to do some annoying typing. Also, the urls are sometimes really long. Workflowy now allows you to rename links to give them friendly names, but that breaks this extension. Also, imgur links don't seem to work. I pasted an image like this https://imgur.com/gDFiaUe. It also doesn't work with the markdown version: ![](https://imgur.com/gDFiaUe). I finally figured out that I can make it work by adding .png: ![](https://imgur.com/gDFiaUe.png) - but I have to click into the imgur Share options to get the correct file extension.
