Description from store Twitch Live Twitch TV extension for displaying a user's favorite channels which are currently live. Twitch Live is a browser extension for Google Chrome that makes it easy to check which of your favorite Twitch.tv channels are currently live. You can also configure the extension to send you a notification when one of your favorite streams goes online. Extension was developed by Mike Chambers. Design by Ben Griffith. Once the extension has been installed it will place a small monitor / TV icon on the top right of your browser window. NOTE YOU MUST NOW PIN THE EXTENSION IN CHROME IN ORDER TO SEE THE ICON. Open the options tab by right clicking the icon, and selecting options. Once the options tab is open, enter your Twitch.tv user name, and click save. You can then view which of your favorite Twitch.tv streams are online by clicking the Twitch Live icon in the browser window. This extension was originally part of the JTV Live extension for Justin.tv but has been split off into its own extension. • (2021-09-01) J L: I like the extension. But I would like to see options to add YouTube live streamers in the future as well. Seems like a lot of BIG streamers on Twitch are about to leave Twitch and HAVE left Twitch for YouTube (TimTheTatMan, DrLupo, and definitely more to come). And it would be nice to have one single extension to check live status for channels, rather than having multiple extensions for it. I know the extension is named "Twitch Live". I guess I could make my own extension for this, since I know how to. But asking someone else to modify their extension is much easier and I'm quite lazy, so yeah. Thanks for the clean extension.
  • (2021-08-31) Imke: Works good and easy but the design could be done a lot better.
  • (2021-08-05) mu nse: twitch Live (google chrome app) when i enter my username in the options, it no longer shows me how many people are online. it hasn't worked for about a week.
  • (2021-07-13) João Paulo Fernandes: extensão excelente. Facilita demais assistir quem seguimos e todo agrupado pelo nome da atividade em que está fazendo
  • (2021-06-03) Katie Willems: Just downloaded, but so far so perfect. Exactly what I was looking for! Edited for a suggestion: I don't know if it's possible, but one thing that would be nice is to see how long a stream has been going for.
  • (2021-06-02) Cup0Chaii: It works well, but I was kind of hoping for it to open stream in a private tab thats not twitch itself since twitch is blocked on the school computer, maybe you can fix that somehow??
  • (2021-03-11) Filip Svoboda: It would be nice if you could add option to make a sound when favorite streamer goes live (withtout the visual notification)
  • (2020-12-12) M C: Its really good although you should add an option to select favorite streamers to see them at the top as priority
  • (2020-11-10) Lisa diKaprio: Работает отлично, никаких претензий, огромное спасибище!
  • (2020-11-03) Solobubbles: I LOVE THIS EXTENTION
  • (2020-11-03) Insane Street: Amazing for what it does, it gives me notifacations when my favourite streamers go live. It's absoluetely amazing.
  • (2020-11-02) Kirk Miller: Simple app to see who's online in a blink. Good to see it's being updated for the twitch changes!
  • (2020-10-28) Tom Mills: Super simple and easy, other extensions may have more features but this does exactly what it says on the tin and is hassle free
  • (2020-10-20) Sam Rodrigues: doesn't work anymore Edit I had changed my username, I think that's why after a while it didn't work. I edited the name in the options for that extension and it worked.
  • (2020-10-07) Joseph Barker: Great extension that I've been using for a while, though I noticed a potential issue recently where it doesn't update the game played when a streamer changes game (or it takes a long time). I understand that this may be a limitation of the Twitch API.
  • (2020-10-07) Chanla Ek: Does exactly what I want it to do. Can see whoever I'm following when they're live. Minimalistic approach is a +
  • (2020-10-02) CyclopsDragon: Been using this extension for a while and it definitely serves its purpose rather well. It looks like something recently broke the extension for me though, within the last day or two, as I'm now getting three copies of each person's stream showing up in the extension. Hopefully this is something that recently changed with Twitch and can be fixed easily.
  • (2020-10-02) Michael Perron: I absolutely love this extension. Been using it for about 5+ years and never had an issue before. I'm not sure if I'm the only one with this issue but recently I have a bug which show most channels I follow but appears triple, I say most because this make my list appears bigger resulting in some channels I follow to not appears at all even though they are online. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the extension but the problem remain. I hope something can be done.
  • (2020-10-02) Nenad Lazic: issue: extension shows duplicates of channel names several times which needs to be fixed. keep good work!
  • (2020-10-02) OPTEM: Best compact Twitch extension to show which streams are live. I've been using this for years but now (since yesterday) streams are shown twice. Hope for a fix.
  • (2020-10-01) Chuck Reynolds: I love this extension & have used it for a long time best one I have found. But lately its been showing double streams https://gyazo.com/90465b0fe478a189926dd51a933127b7 I have to disable it for now til a fix is made.
  • (2020-09-30) silverst3rn 558: I love it but it doesn't work anymore, reinstalled (Ver 1.88) and now it only shows a few of the streamers that are online, each of them 6 times.
  • (2020-09-30) Primzian Magdael: Didn't work for a while so had it sitting in the extensions hoping for an update. As of now the extension got updated and works, so go for it.
  • (2020-09-30) MaskLuigi: Amazing extension does exactly what you want it to. But very recently, the extension shows duplicates of channel names several times which needs to be fixed.
  • (2020-09-30) Manisha Saini: It works great but recently there's an issue where the username shows up twice
  • (2020-09-29) Gabriel Bachega: Its really good but doesn't work anymore Edit: Its back :)
  • (2020-09-29) El Dark: Es muy buena cumple con su función de avisar si alguien esta en stream se las recomiendo
  • (2020-09-26) Ella Threlfall: it is great when it works. unfortunately it currently has an issue where it does not save options. so you can't tell it your twitch username, so it can't find out which channels you follow, making it completely non-functional. edit: works great now, thanks! live channel names with their viewer count are organised under categories where the game name is the header. if you hover over one, you see the title of that stream, and you can also click the game name to go to that game's twitch page. this feels very natural to how i use twitch, since i am usually in the mood to watch a certain game or a certain kind of game, so i like how everything is neatly separated into small, readable categories.
  • (2020-09-23) Diego Alejandro Escobar Barona: Tiene lo que necesitas, no te satura con información innecesaria. Muy recomendada
  • (2020-09-21) Turtle Sergio: doesn't show anything
  • (2020-09-20) a2tt: As mikechambers's extension doesn't work anymore, doesn't updated for several month and it's so uncomfortable without this, I developed a similar one. Inspired by his UI but wrote code all by myself. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/twitch-live-notification/jchdobapodgpkopkldkegoopmkmpkbia
  • (2020-09-09) 친구Jose Rodrigo: ya no sirve
  • (2020-09-04) Orlando Gabriel Videla: Pls update the twitch api :)
  • (2020-09-01) James Salembene: Had it for my computer before and it worked amazingly. I have a new computer and my extensions didn't move to the browser. I was setting it up and it won't connect to my twitch name. So it's essentially useless right now.
  • (2020-08-30) I am 1fdp: Do not work anymore
  • (2020-08-24) Coolampio M: ne marche pas sur mac
  • (2020-08-21) Todor Georgiev: great extension, but I need help. I have been using this for years now. But it stopped working on my chrome on windows 10. Basically nothing happens when I put in my username -> in the options menu, and press save. It doesn't save anything. I tried uninstalling my add blocker and antivirus software but no luck. It seems to be something from the extension. I reset chrome flags, cleared dns, cleared cache, but still nothing. It works in chrome on Mac.
  • (2020-08-06) Łukasz Pęcak: Not working anymore because of new twitch OAuth policy. Sadly its my favourite extension
  • (2020-08-04) Ant _: This extension is great and I love it! There has however been a bug where I can't save my username in options. I type in my name and I press save but nothing happened at all. It says that I have not chosen my username and therefore not showing the live accounts that I follow. I have deleted the extension and reinstall it with no success. I have also tried other things but with the same results. Hope you get it fixed asap. Thanks.
  • (2020-08-04) Jakob Hjelm: Used work perfectly. Simple, clean and to the point. However, after re-installing Windows today I can no longer save the settings. DevTools on the settings page shows 'onUserInfoError : {"error":"Unauthorized","status":401,"message":"OAuth token is missing"}' so I assume Twitch changed something in their API, causing the current version of Twitch Live not to be able to access the follower lists anymore. :(
  • (2020-08-02) aquilon1s: For some reason can`t add my account. Win 10
  • (2020-08-01) Kyle M: Used to work so well then when I switched computers and went to add everything back, it wont save my settings now and the extension is basically useless
  • (2020-07-30) Mystyc Cheez: Doesn't work anymore
  • (2020-07-29) mreagan: Does not work anymore. I've used it for good 2-3 years but I can't anymore since it stopped working recently.
  • (2020-07-29) Heros Hajetschek: Great extension, but doesn't let me save my username anymore so it doesn't work.
  • (2020-07-27) Samuel Zucco: I've been using this extension for years. Recently got a new PC and for some reason it stopped working. Won't accept my user name in the settings so I can't see when someone is live. Such a shame because I use this extension on the daily.. Love it apart from this problem..
  • (2020-07-26) Alex Gubsky: Can't save twitch name in settings, win10.
  • (2020-07-18) Erik Pettersson: Love it! but dont work anymore, Fix it please :(
  • (2020-07-11) SKbird: can you fix it? Definitely a top 3 extension when it actually works
  • (2020-07-09) Bryon Allgood: EDIT: Currently changing my 5 star to a 1 star because as of patch 1.87, the extension is broken. It will no longer save your username and thus does not work. If you have it saved prior, nothing changes, but I had uninstalled my extensions and when I got this one back I came into this issue. Apparently this has been an issue for about 2 months now. Please fix. Amazing way to quickly check who is live and see the viewer count. Easy way to know if something special is going on or just who's on in general. Wouldn't watch twitch without this extensions
