This worked fine until a couple weeks ago. Now it doesn't work at all, maybe because Pocket is now at app.getpocket.com, not getpocket.com? Any way to make this work again?

This lets you either open a page from Pocket web normally, or you can use your browser's normal way to open the link to the page in a new tab, and this extension will automatically "click" the "View Original" button in that new tab. So on OS X, this means Cmd-click a page in Pocket will open a new tab on the original page. Thank you Radomir Svorad. I didn't fully understand how this worked at first from your description, hence trying to help others with the above description. It is silly that Pocket has not added this highly-requested, yet (one would think) easy-to-add feature yet.
