  • (2023-12-30) wes d: its fine but it does cause a few errors on some websites. selecting a few words and typing their replacement will often just deselect before you start typing. also, the default list of autocorrects is pretty annoying. there should be a list that does not correct internet lingo. i just want misspelled words corrected, not slang. typing g2g shouldn't correct to got to go. i know how to spell got to go. informal speak is not always undesired. it has been a year since i have been using this, and I'm still finding things i don't want it to correct.
  • (2023-10-11) Михаило Панић: usefull
  • (2023-07-23) Luke (work): Perfect app but Discord is the only place I truly need it and it doesn't work there :(
  • (2023-07-10) Sukhchain: It's really wonderful. I have a severe case of being stupid when I type, and this is really helpful for that problem. I am planning to change some words in the settings though, good thing there's an option of that.
  • (2023-04-14) subz mcmacenstine: Doesn't work on discord
  • (2023-03-07) Heath “rolltidehero” B.: UPDATE 03/07/2023: It no longer works on teams.microsoft.com, but it does still work on most other sites. This is just what I've been looking for... Auto-capitalize the first word of each sentence! I just which it supported auto-cap after new line\enter key. Regex support would work if you just add \n. I've tried so many tools for this and the only one that could come close was AutoHotKey, but I typed too fast and it just made typos. Thank you so much for this!
  • (2022-12-06) Dawson Field: Works great for what i use it for. I use messages for android in chrome alot and its annoying to not have some of the basic autocorrect features of the google keyboard for android. It auto capitalizes and autocorrected common grammatical errors that i am too lazy to type out properly. as you can tell XD
  • (2022-09-11) Ujjwal Limbu: very thicc extension
  • (2022-06-27) Dominic Parkhurst: check out my review dominicblogsaboutanything.wordpress.com
  • (2022-06-23) Ahmed Sherif: I love this extinction so much
  • (2022-04-11) Lydia Underhill: i love it but its stepped working and I haven't gotten a reply to the email sent to developer
  • (2022-02-22) alias alias: simple, lightweight , surprising good.
  • (2021-08-12) Scott Szelewa: It makes unnecessary Capitalization after correcting a word (see how it capitalized capitalization because it corrected unnecessary For me - look did it again, I still can't spell that word). Also breaks up words after the cursor if you go back and insert text that you end up spelling wrong. Uninstalling
  • (2021-07-19) Alex: I got this mainly to autocorrect "teh" to "the. So that's worked out well. Unfortunately my next biggest typo is appending the word "a" to the end of the preceding word and then typing two spaces, instead of space-a-space. This add-on won't allow you to use spaces! Gah!
  • (2021-07-11) Keen Aiken: I used to love this extension, but for the last long while, its been malfunctioning, and I have gotten NO reply from the dev(s). it started capitalizing "don't" and "won't" etc, doesn't turn off when I tell it to (yes, I refresh the pages), and then today it started capitalizing every single word! What on earth... Not worth the trouble.
  • (2021-02-11) Corey Bowe: This does not work in Gmail new messages. It's the only place I wanted to use it. Does not correct CApitalizing LEtters ISsue at all. As you can see. :)
  • (2021-01-27) JAIVIN GUPTA: Itna wahiyat autocorrect; bolongs likha galti se bolongi kar diya; kaise kisi ko formal message likhenge to kya hoga; saamne wale ko lagega ki ladki bolri hai
  • (2021-01-23) Joe T.: This app is great its just like texting on your phone it corrects everything... but not on their app review section for some reason.
  • (2021-01-05) Rodger Graham: doesnt work doesnt add apostrophes or change stuff as needd as you can tell frm the qwrting of this review also no auto cap on i also doesnt come on or stay on as an extension says to refresh page i do and the extension turns off unless iam missing somthing in the setting page this is useless
  • (2020-11-26) Shah Alam: I've been using it for about 18 months now and find it of immense value. The one feature I love is its ability to export and import it into Chrome on other devices. I've also been able to use many of the Windows 10 in-built special characters and emoticons — accessed by Win + : (colon) key, like ℃, € and 💗 — using this extension. Many thanks to the developer for creating this. Wish the developer had also created an add-on for Firefox, so I could use its export/import feature there too.
  • (2020-11-21) Cirilla Riannon: Works like autocorrect. Exactly what I was hoping for.
  • (2020-09-24) esther: It's really good :D
  • (2020-06-26) Zayaan Habib: hi my name is Zayaan
  • (2020-04-12) Jasvinder Jesse: Best addon! The way i wanted a spell checker addon to be. Works like a charm for me! Please, create it for Firefox as well. I love this addon!
  • (2020-04-01) Aaron Jones: If this extension has a much larger database of words to correct it would be an amazing autocorrecting extension but the word database is extremely small and will only correct the simplest of mistakes. If you need something to correct basic words then this works.. but second you have any word that's remotely uncommon you will need to fall back to clicking the squigly lines Chrome has built into it.
  • (2020-02-07) Brian Hahn: Auto-capitalization is handy. It saves me the extra shift key. But it's created more annoyances and wasted more time because it keeps skipping the cursor over to the right when I try to go back and insert more letters in Gmail. This happens despite not having a period or any special characters nearby. It will just skip ahead and I have to go back and fix it, which creates more errors... Some of the "typos" are more like auto-expands. "idk" becomes "i don't know". This is UNNECESSARY as a default correction! If one wants to add it, one can. I mainly got this for Gmail, but I'm going to have to disable this on Gmail.
  • (2020-01-16) Zaeda Meherin: I used it on Google Docs. Doesn't work. Even when I refresh the page, it reflects no change
  • (2020-01-03) Celine Bossart: This plugin is absolute trash. Two main things: after correcting a word, it automatically capitalizes the following word (a glitch, I'm assuming). Also, if I try to edit inside an existing sentence, it'll jump to another random place in the text field. I'd much rather just correct my own typos (it'll be a LOT less work).
  • (2019-12-05) Paul Ramura (Paulramura): Works great! would be nice to see the support for ':' in addition to ',' and '.' plus, not sure why its not hiding permanently when you select 'hide this addon in chrome menu'. It hides but, when you reopen the browser then it shows up again. Its not like other addons which hides until some one manually edit the show in chrome menu option. Otherwise good job, keep up the great work! When you are going to make for Firefox?
  • (2019-12-05) Kanda N: This is not working with Atlassian Confluence. In Confluence, we don't use textboxes, but we can type directly, say, within a <p> tag. Is there any way to make Spell Bee work in this kind of scenario?
  • (2019-11-06) deeznuts: i love spell bee so much as it helps me many ways.
  • (2019-10-31) Keith Kostelac: Doesn't work at all with outlook.com
  • (2019-10-28) Kal: this extension only works sporadically and I have no idea why. sometimes it'll auto correct but most of the time it doesn't. I've checked all the settings and tested by typing the words after refreshing but no dice. pretty frustrating because when it works it's great!!
  • (2019-08-30) Der Shep: I have carpal tunnel in my hand. Using the shift key makes it worse. This has helped me type with a lot less pain, but still sound professional.
  • (2019-07-24) Dawid Holas: 1. Author/s are not responding my emails. 2. Spell Bee sometimes adding a space "randomly". I'm trying to type "Let's" and Spell Bee "corrects" it to "Let' s"
  • (2019-06-24) Stevie Griffin: Doesnt work. I am typingg this review with missspellings to show you that nothng happens as I type this.
  • (2019-05-04) David Kimber: DId not work for me at all - no idea why, but maybe because I use UK English and not American?
  • (2019-04-09) TheBullhorn Streamer: Can you make this work with Twitch Alternative Player for Twitch?
  • (2019-03-12) Does absolutely nothing. Does not work for built-in typo corrections (like 2day), nor for custom corrections that I set up.
  • (2019-02-20) Scott Krueger: Need this because Google is too stupid to autocorrect for us anymore... Works good to fix something that Google Broke...
  • (2019-02-12) Dill: This isn't working for me at all... It won't correct stuff
  • (2019-01-17) David Online: Like it a lot, it would be nice if the mistake entries was larger or collaborative (building a dictionary of errors from the 10,000 or 50,000 most used mistakes made by users for example)
  • (2019-01-01) Nick: Just straight up doesn't work.
  • (2018-12-04) Syed M. Ashraf: It works on discord and my school papers :)
  • (2018-10-21) Peter Horton: Spell Bee saves me a lot of time, and I haven't had any trouble adding or removing words from the list to customize it. My only complaint is that it's disappointing that the extension is effectively shut off when I type into google docs (although it works for gmail). I understand that this is something that may be beyond the developer's control, but it does limit the extension's value.
  • (2018-09-20) Kyle Nokes: Maybe it doesn't work with the newest version of Chrome. It doesn't autocorrect on intranet pages on my work's network.
  • (2018-04-07) Brian Gabriel: Didn't work at all in Gmail.
  • (2018-03-30) I think it's' the best alternative out there.
  • (2018-03-08) Nathaniel Thompson: doesn't even work
  • (2018-03-05) Nachiketa Sahoo: Works well. Removes a frustrating problem with Chrome, which is otherwise a good browser. I wish someone published a more extensive set of spelling corrections that is equivalent to the built in one in Mac. Thanks for the great extension!
