Microsoft loves to make jokes with users, they ask you almost every minimal detail about your life to simply create an Email and if you don't do it, they delete your account after you have been already using this email for 2 months and then they want you to install an extension for what every computer does naturally and automatically - copy and paste words. Really an aberration.

At first, I was slightly annoyed, but adding the extension was the simplest thing. Reading all the negative reviews took longer than adding the extension itself.

I'm not mad that you have to use an extension to use one of the most basic features of any word-editing software. I'm not upset that Microsoft had to fiddle with the Chrome code to make it possible. I'm friggin LIVID that they can't get their act together long enough for the extension to stay supported! Microsoft and Google are multi-billion-dollar companies, and they're faceplanting onto the pavement.

This is like buying a car and needing to pay more to get door installed. So so so so useless.

Dose what I need it to do. Hopefully Microsoft updates and follows best practices for Chrome extensions so I can continue to use it. Not sure why this is rated so low it literally explains its reason and purpose in the description.

We are told we need an extension.. THE FIRST THING WE SEE AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE IS "This extension may soon no longer be supported because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions" Which idiot with nothing better to do came up with this scheme? Having to install an extension to do one of the most simplest and oldest function for online documents is so unnecessary that the only explanation is that the asshat who did this must have been having a horrible day and decided to take it out on the rest of the world.

I find it very easy to install and it is also very useful.

Simple as blazes to install 1-2 clicks and woola it was there although it took a couple of seconds of my time but worth it Thank You to whoever made the extension

Yay, mine worked :D idk why people sent so many negative reviews. I literally just pressed download, clicked a few buttons and it worked. Copy & Paste is available.

Because why?? If they're trying to make the free online version annoying enough to push you into buying the official product, that definitely ain't working on me. I bought Affinity Designer after Adobe decided to go subscription. I WILL find something else. dpwm xDD

Please let me copy and paste in my own document without downloading an entire extension. I wasn't even copy/pasting from a website, I was simply moving words to another part of the document. The extension works fine, however this is massively inconvenient for everyone and useless. Copy/paste also works in other peoples browsers in word so this is simply poor design.

Well nothing works like it's supposed to--Go figure: I paid my cheesy $1.99 for the monthly plan and it doesn't work until repeated complaints and now you get this useless download to get a simple copy/patse function to work...Wow, all those billions in profits and you have to deal with this BS?

This extension works wonderfully... BUT WHY ONE EARTH IS IT AN EXTENSION!! Copy and Paste is an essential part of word documents it should be part of the normal functions.
