Disables check boxes on Google sign-in pages, including 'Always logged in' and 'Don't ask for codes again on this computer'.

Image from store Force Authentication for Google™
Description from store Forces Google authentication by preventing check boxes for 'convenience' on sign-in pages. Disables 'always' logged in, and 'Don't ask for codes again on this computer' (if two-factor is enabled), which are irritatingly always checked by default. This ensures you're always forced to authenticate when necessary, and never allows you to bypass two-factor authentication. This extension does NOT obtain any personal information at all from your accounts page, and ONLY disables the check boxes as described above. View the source if you're concerned. It is advised to clear your cache first after initial install by using Ctrl + Shift + Delete, and choosing "Cookies and other site and plug-in data". Then log in as normal. ---------------------------------------------------------------- v1.2.3 - Updated to support new version of Google's login page utilizing "G Codes".

  • (2017-04-27, v:1.2.3) Matthew Thyer: No longer works due to new Google login page
As of today (the 27th of April 2017 - Australian Central time) I'm seeing a new Google login page and this extension needs updating to cope with this. I've seen this page with Chrome 58.0.3029.81 (64-bit) on Ubuntu 16.10 64 bit. Interestingly, I'm still getting the old login page with Chrome 58.0.3029.81 (64-bit) on Windows 7 64 bit. Cheers and thanks for your great extension.

We're looking for an extension that will pre-load the domain so that the user only has to type their userid and password. This is for kindergarten and other younger users, to give them the google apps experience without having to type in the entire email address.
  • (2015-10-14, v:1.2.3) Matthew Thyer: Partial failure for Google two-factor authentication
As of yesterday (the 13th of October 2015), I've noticed that I am again seeing the checkbox for: "Don't ask again on this computer". However, your extension seems to be partially working as it's not checked by default unless I disable your extension. Please have a look at this.
  • (2015-07-23, v:1.2.2) Matthew Thyer: No longer works for Google two-factor authentication
As of today (the 23rd of July 2015), Google two step authentication has "Don't ask again on this computer" checked by default. i.e. They've changed something and you're extension is no longer working. This form does not have enough room for me to include the page source. I've kept the page source and you can email me on: [email protected] to request it if needed.
