This extension lets you add a small note to any tab you are browsing via a small icon in the Omnibox. The icon changes based on if there is a note on the current tab. Notes are synced across Chrome sessions.

- (2014-07-02) Michael Sinanian: This extension is a game-changer. I often load tabs with the intention of acting on them later, but I'd like to leave a small note about what that is. Until Tab Notes, there was no way to do this. Now Tab Notes has solved that problem beautifully!

After closing and reopening my MacBook a few times over the past 2 days, the Tab Notes icon in the omnibar has disappeared (the extension is still running though when I check the Chrome://extensions page). I never restarted Chrome. It's always been running and yet the icon has disappeared.
