A publication might be on topic. But is it on point? Ferret integrates with many popular scientific databases and services, so you can easily judge the scientific impact of any publication. If an article scores low, perhaps you shouldn't read it all the way through. If it has no mentions or peer reviews at all, it may not even be worth your time.

- (2016-05-02) Ding Ewan: Fail to perform on the Local PDF, I mean, there is no sidebar when I open the PDF in Chrome. Besides, I'd appreciate a lot if this extension could support the PDF in Diigo, which is a great website for idea collection and organization.
- (2016-03-15) J. Lund: Great idea and useful for reading literature, however breaks PDF functionality for many non-journal PDFs (e.g. instruction manuals, letters). This extension could be really great if there were an easy way to toggle whether it's enabled or not.

Ferret stopped working so I removed it from Chrome then reinstalled. Works again but I'd hoped it would still have access to my old database. Are months worth of material gone or can I get it back?
