- (2014-03-25) It is a good idea, and it works to unblock school filters that have not invested in SSL packet sniffer or root certificate managers. BUT it needs support for TLS as well as SSL. Perhaps a TLS mode and an SSL mode, only because websites sometimes only support one of the two.

I can't tell when the icon is on. Maybe when you click on it is turns yellow rather as well as a swivel and turning a darker shade of grey.
