SiteBar ist eine Lösung für Menschen, die mehrere Browser oder Computer benutzen und ihre Lesezeichen von überall her verfügbar haben wollen, ohne sie synchronisieren oder mitnehmen zu müssen. Die Bookmarks werden auf einem Server gespeichert - das kann sein:
- ein SiteBar-Server, der von sitebar.org betrieben wird
- ein anderer öffentlicher Server, auf dem unsere SiteBar-Software läuft
- Ihr eigener Server, auf dem unsere kostenlose SiteBar-Software läuft
Die Lesezeichen sind in fast jedem standardkonformen Browser anzeigbar/veränderbar.

- Any chance to get this working with a self hosted solution like the Firefox extension? UPDATE: @Sven Thanks for the info. There are two things that I would love to see. 1) It embeds itself as a panel on the browser like in Firefox 2) The ability to bookmark while your on the page you want to book mark.

- Works perfect on my selfhosted SB instance. Just go into setting of the extension and choose your details.
