This is an extension for Google Keep. You can input tab ('Tab' button) into Google Keep memos.

Do you like using Google Keeps, but the memos are getting unstructured?
With this extension, you can input tabs into memos in Google Keep. To do this:
- open any memo and start writing;
- press the "Tab" button on your keyboard.
You can easily write structured text like the Markdown.

- (2023-10-20) Joseph Reagle: I used this for some time, but I don't know if the extension was taken over or the owners changed the policy, but it now automatically opens spam tabs (from manganum, in my case).

- (2023-08-18) Jörg Lehmann: Works great. It would be even better, if it is adjustable for tabs in a notes header. Usually I write the header and jump with the tab key to the note text. That is not possible anymore. But having the tabs in a keep compensates for that ;-)

- (2022-08-18) Ed Atkin: It lets you indent using tab on Google Keep. Extremely useful for those who wish to indent using tab on Google Keep. I installed it, reloaded the page and it worked straight away.

- (2021-04-03) Rayna Cheong: Inputting tabs works like a charm. If that's all you need, this'll do it. No current updates/support though; Github is inactive. The description regarding Markdown is confusing, but this extension does not allow for Markdown support in Google Keep.

Now I just wish this feature was also somehow available on Android. Maybe one day Google will include it natively with Keep. Until then, this extension fills a huge gap! Tip: To create indented lines when using checkboxes, use 'Shift-Enter' (hold the Shift key while pressing the Enter key) to create new lines.
- (2017-03-21) Markdown не работает. Описание немного некорректно. Но отступы делает. Их видно даже под IOS Keep. Markdown doesn't work. Description is slightly incorrect. The extension is just to enter tabs. But tabs work on IOS client too.
