(2019-09-07) Tippy Cam: It works great as a reminder to take breaks while I am actively browing. Frustratingly, when I close my laptop it begins counting this as inactive time, so for example when first turn on my laptop in the morning, it immediately turns red and tells me I've been inactive too long.
(2018-08-20) Lindsay Canham: This app works really well on a Windows PC. Has a small, but noticible pop up that occurs, even when chrome is minimized. Tells you the health risks and encourages you to step away from the keyboard for a few minutes. I absolutely loved it on my Windows. I recently switched jobs and they only use Macs at this new job. The pop up is very tiny on Macs, and only pops up if you have Chrome up. Not ideal, as I now regularly miss the warnings and colour changes as I don't always have the browser up. That's why I dropped it one star. Otherwise, I think everyone should have this extension! Really well made app.
(2016-06-06) Best of any activity reminder that I've used. It works on several visual levels. I might rarely sit past the yellow, but I'm sure to get up when dot turns red--it's like a game. The notifications, in addition to the dot, are another good visual.
(2016-05-03) It's a simply little chrome application, but it works good enough to get me off my keister and go for a walk around the office. Sometimes ill even find myself glaring at the dot, just waiting for it to change, like the eye of sauron.
