UG Downloader is a way to download guitar pro and power tab files from Ultimate-Guitar more easily. This extension supports downloads for tabs that have been removed from the site as well, so no more pesky "This tab has been removed by the publisher" issues.
Usage:
Simply visit a guitar pro and power tab page and click on the UG Downloader extension icon. Tabs will be automatically downloaded for you in your default download location.
UPDATE:
Now supports HTTPS and the updated Ultimate Guitar download path. If your extension isn't working due to "Page not found", please update your extension.

Used to work a few months ago, guess Ultimate Guitar got around to fixing this. Hopefully you can find a new method for download, and if there are any that still work, you should link them here.
This worked amazingly. Sadly now it seems UT have blocked the method used to download those, so currently it doesn't work. I still gave 5 stars because you did a great job and it was always bound to happen. If you happen to know another method to download official tabs, or are able to patch this extension to work again, it will be amazing. Thanks!
Used to work now it doesnt really hoping someone can find a work around.
Please or the love of god, update this. It stopped working for me today saying "access is denied".
It worked very well... but today when i wanted to download it again, it faied. The page of UG showed "Acess denied" :( Hope it could be fixed soon, i wouldnt mind if this extension is not free, because it was just amazing! Thanks.
