Description from store Overlay the Twitch.tv live chat with Chatterino, bringing the native performance and features of Chatterino to the website. Have the same experience chatting no matter if you are watching or are in offline chat. We use events and data provided by the browser to overlay a native Chatterino window over the browser. The information includes the channel in which the user is in, as well as the size of the chat. Changing the tab or closing a window causes the Chatterino application to hide/show the window. Chatterino tracks the position and z-level of the Browser window and moves itself accordingly. NOTE: - This extension only works on Windows. - We need to overlay a native window over the browser window which is tricky by design and may not work for you setup.

(2022-08-20) Phoenix Lemalu (phoenpc): Works perfectly, it doesn't seem to scale properly when countering in Browser Zoom levels however so it doesn't always look proper. Can you please also hook onto the canary.twitch.tv domain pls, as it only works on main but not canary.

(2021-10-09) intrapersonal: On 2560x1440 multi monitor setups and on the standard non beta Chrome builds it will be about 200 px off the actual chat. However, this may be due to interference with FFZ/BTV which should have been an oversight with chatterino. But Chatterino on it's own is a great program, so I can't really fault him for the coding not being perfect on an extension

(2021-08-04) DeAndre Wilson: This extension is buggy as all hell. The window gets stuck often resulting in refreshing streams or the program. Changing any view on twitch breaks this extension. So clunky. Wish it worked better cus it's better than regular chat window. 😖

All is fine, the only problem would just be that when im creating a new tab and moving my tab into a different monitor (so not in the same chrome window as the stream) the chat is going gray and need to click on it, no big deal, but ay maybe its fixable apart from that, love the extension
(2020-08-25) Karsten Schelasin: About an hour after posting my last review about the browser/application integration being broken by the last update it's righted itself and gone back to how it was before. Back to being the best chat for twitch I'm happy with it again
(2020-07-25) Mark: It worked, replaced twitch chat with chaterino. However it also added another huge black bar, the size of another chat, on the left of that, which made the actual video player the size of a pea since there was no space left on the screen.

(2019-06-25) Fairly Vinyl: Like the others have said, this extension does not work, and it seems to have been abandoned based on the last update it had received. I hope this gets supported again someday because Twitch's own chat can cause incredible lag if left open in channels with many viewers typing and/or using emotes.
