Zudem erscheint jedes Mal, auch auf der selben Seite, die Aufforderung, die Cookies zu akzeptieren. Chrome scheint die nicht speichern zu können mit diesem Frame (oder es ist jedesmal ein neues Frame). Zudem muss ich immer 2x die Cookies akzeptieren. Der Frame kann in der Grösse nicht verändert werden, was mühsam sein kann. Idee gut, Umsetzung verbesserungswürdig.

• (2020-11-05) Chi Zhang: I deleted the extension after 3 minutes. Don't get me wrong - I'm a huge fan of Deepl (website application), but the reason why I want to use an extension is not to have a worse version of the website application, but to use it to translate entire websites, like I do with google translate. Unfortunately, this is not possible. Instead, you have the exact same version of deepl web application, with a big minus that you have to choose your cookies EVERY TIME you want to translate one paragraph. For that purpose, I find using the website far more convenient. I left 2 stars instead of one because I really like the website. I think you need to put more thought on why people would go an extra mile to install the plugin instead of using the website version. Normally, they want to read entire websites with the help of a translator. The quality of translation is, however, as always, fantastic. So stay with deepl itself (www.deepl.com), just don't bother installing the extension.

Maybe I'd take the official deepL desktop app because I'm too lazy to switch it to my native language or English every single time I use this extention.

• (2020-10-25) Rupert Jung: Not really useable for me. Thee is no selction-bubble, there is also no context menu entry for marked text. The popup is way to small and not resizeable, the close button of the pop up doesn't work for some reason. Additionally, there is a cookie warning each single time.
• (2020-10-19) D. Decker: I like DeepL - enough to sign up to the trial month and see if works for me as a paid subscription. The chrome extension is very buggy - have to keep clicking on cookie preferences, doesn't stay logged in, takes too long to translate. At present, the extension is not a smooth customer experience. Will likely remove it and perhaps try again in a year or so.

• (2020-10-07) Jodie Raybould: I thought it would translate a website for me but was just a little box that opens where I can copy paste in pieces of text. The translation is very good so I will definitely keep using DeepL but the extension is a bit annoying. It always tries to translate to German for some reason and I can't set a preferred language, I tried logging in but it never works, and every single time it opens it asks me to confirm my cookie preferences. Needs some work but okay.
