Description from store Hindsight. Hindsight is a chrome extension with a big mission--to finally give us a good idea about which parts of the internet serve our interests, and which parts rob of us of our time to serve others' interests. Together--by tracking the reasons we use sites like facebook and okcupid, how those things work out for us, and what alternatives there are--we can start to figure out how the internet helps people, and how it doesn't.

(2016-10-31) Gordon McDonald: A beautiful idea, but a few problems: 1) I cannot see how I have previously rated sites. So it is just collecting my data without giving me any feedback. 2) It records sites for hours and hours when they were actually inactive/the computer was asleep etc. and maybe I only visited the site for 5 minutes before shutting the lid on my laptop.

Dear mister Edelman, The extension says it is compatible with my macbook air, and i could install it on my chrome browser. But then i can't do a thing. I can't sign in and it doesn't ask me anything. So I don't know how I can use this.. I didn't want to give you a bad review because I love the idea of an extension helping you in better organizing your time online. Maybe you can help me out? This extension requires me to sign in with Google, which tells the extension my name, my photo, my gender, and the public information in my profile, like where I stay. None of that information should be needed for this extension to work. Uninstalled.

Is there any way to see the aggregated results of all these ratings? I've been rating a lot of sites, but I can't see any results.
