This extension attempts to remove emoji while browsing. It removes default emoji, as well as emoji on Facebook and Twitter.
It cannot remove images, and so any emoji that is actually an image will remain.

This extension icon looks friendly. I see that it does a very good job. It will be perfect if emojis are blocked a little faster since they still appear for a split-second before disappearing.
