  • (2025-09-07) Ryan Huber: doesnt work
  • (2025-09-06) Diana Esquivel: i wanted to use it for weverse lives and i can't :(
  • (2025-09-05) Matthew Regan: @Craig Jacobs, this is because captions don't come over to the PIP and google can apparently get in trouble with their TV service for not having captions for the hearing impaired. They have been working to solve this issue for about 5 years but their developers still haven't figured out the solution. Not sure why they are having difficulty, I guess Google has subpar developers.
  • (2025-09-01) Craig Jacobs: Works fine. But Google owns YouTube. Why did they remove the mini player option just to create an extension for it on their own product that they removed it from in the first place?
  • (2025-08-28) bbeen bie: this is very helpful!!
  • (2025-08-28) Ryan Bach: Functional, but far behind Firefox's built-in PiP feature. * forced always on top behavior isn't working on my system, easy enough to fix via autohotkey script but not everyone knows how to do that and they shouldn't have to * PiP videos in firefox show an icon for supported video content, this extension just has a hotkey and the only indication that the content you want to PiP isn't supported is that the hotkey does nothing * the only video playback control on the PiP is a play/pause button. no skipping forward/back, changing volume, etc. * things like youtube captions do not show up on the PiP - they just draw over a black background where the video would be on the page. you also can't use keyboard hotkeys with the PiP window active to control the page it's on. * mousing over the PiP window greys out the whole video to display a 'back to tab' option, which gets annoying fast when the video fades in and out every time the mouse cursor clips the corner of the video Hope to see this upstreamed as a built-in feature and given a lot more polish and feature parity with Mozilla's implementation. When you get any window layering issues sorted out, and if you don't need to access any playback controls or use captions, this does the same thing Firefox's PiP does, but those are some pretty significant missing features.
  • (2025-08-27) Aless L-Siino (alessiino): Here's what's missing: - Subtitles should be shown in the PIP, especially with YouTube videos. - Should show the progress bar of the video in the PIP
  • (2025-08-26) Lewis Bako: This build is causing glitches on RTX. Its a great feature to have, needs to be updated so that it works as it should.
  • (2025-08-23) Mohamed Fadlalla: when I watch in picture to picture mode and go back to YouTube screen the YouTube bar is glitch
  • (2025-08-20) jng: Automatic PiP doesn't work for me, and it's annoying having to press the button to enable it. Also it lacks video controls in the PiP, there should be at least progress bar to let you move the video timestamp around and buttons could be bigger. Basically, it's way worse than the PiP feature in Firefox, which has automatic PiP and bigger buttons and progress bar and 5 sec go back/forward buttons and allows multiple PiPs!
  • (2025-08-19) Vincent Vanloo: 5/5, but fire the person who auto defaulted the "Automatic picture-in-picture (BETA)"
  • (2025-08-16) Flower Player: this extesion is so bad, 1 star (satire)
  • (2025-08-14) Super PiP: This PiP extension works. But it does not support playback controls or subtitles
  • (2025-08-14) Cyriac Kandoth: I was never into watching youtube videos in the background, but I am now.
  • (2025-08-12) Andrew Cwajbaum: Use full and simple to use
  • (2025-08-05) Andrew Barfield (Drew): Window doesn't "stay on top" with new version of Chrome on Ubuntu: Version 139.0.7258.66 (Official Build) (64-bit). EDIT: You can click the video window and type ALT+SPACE and select "Always on top" as a workaround.
  • (2025-08-02) Adrian Wattananupong: Basically I can choose to off/on the PIP mode. Now the auto PIP is annoying, not every time I need the PIP. I was listening music from YT and can't work on another tab of chrome. Please fix this...
  • (2025-07-31) Hamdan Pervez: Almost there. There's just one player where it didn't work otherwise it's legit.
  • (2025-07-31) Kris Fernandez: fire
  • (2025-07-30) asdf asdf: why do I need this if I already have a way of PiP
  • (2025-07-30) Alex Marushchak: It's been bugged for several days. After I use it (on YT e.g.) and then later try to go full screen mode on YT: this PIP just goes over the top of YT window and messes up with all the buttons. I'm forced to reload the video on YT. It happens all the time. Chrome and the extension itself are up to date. What is going on? Fix it, please!
  • (2025-07-25) Togan Rona: would be better if it showed CC (netflix)
  • (2025-07-22) amira malak: Good, does what it says it will. Only (large for me) problem is when using with Netflix at least, it does not also show the subtitles of what I am watching, which is annoying if I am watching something in a different language.
  • (2025-07-14) J Mr: Loved it :)
  • (2025-07-13) Joseph Kreifels II: Alt+P shortcut doesn't work.
  • (2025-07-13) Sting Hwang: It's working on my windows 11, but not working on my Macbook Pro macOS 15.
  • (2025-07-11) Ankush Rathour: The extension has stopped working for the past 2–3 days. I use it every day—thank you so much for this helpful tool! Please fix the issue, and if possible, consider adding a few more features: Skip ads Captions support Multiple Picture-in-Picture (PIP) windows PIP controls Additional feature suggestions (either in this extension or a new one): Split tabs (like split-screen view) PIP for the entire tab Thanks again for your great work!
  • (2025-07-11) Muayyad Almitwali: uh i do need this because some websites dont provide the PIP on movies or tv shows but idk how to use it but when i figure it out its gonna be good
  • (2025-07-05) Harshit Agrawal: This extension is not working anymore on my devices.
  • (2025-07-05) k bh: Please include youtube captions too in the pip view.
  • (2025-07-01) Gary Baker: I didn't know how much I needed this extension until I found it. I knew what I wanted to be able to do, but I just couldn't put it into words... I have mutiliple desktops open all day long. And when I need to watch an instructional coding video, while learning a coding trick, I don't want or need to see the rest of the browser content. Just show me the video!!! I use it every day. Thank you so much.
  • (2025-06-30) Blueprint Media Design: why doe it haves a star on the icon in the status bar? will be better without
  • (2025-06-30) Gin: multi PiP
  • (2025-06-29) Erdogan BILGICI: Super, Thanks. Linux & picture-in-picture with 2 Screen....
  • (2025-06-27) Cosmo Reaper: This extension is essential for me when it comes to multitasking. I can watch my favorite twitch streamers or watch a cool Youtube Video while I'm doing something else.
  • (2025-06-23) Heather Maga: It was great until the automatic PIP. Now even though I have that turned off it is still happening. I hate it. Sometimes I just listen to video and do not need PIP!!!
  • (2025-06-19) Billy Ballo: It works well on many sites, it can improve On linkedin cannot see the learning subtitles and when passing to anothe video the pip is stuck to the original pip-ed video
  • (2025-06-14) Delroy Pires: Works as expected. Might not work with DRM stuff like Netflix, Prime Etc. Simple. Easy. Reliable. Another alternative has come out clear PIP, i used it and it's LITERALLY the same.
  • (2025-06-13) SK Naim Akhtar: Awesome extension.
  • (2025-06-11) Ethan Davies: literally doesnt work. tried with crunchyroll several times and it just doesnt do anything. same with netflix. I dont understand why or how to fix it
  • (2025-06-09) Zed Gaming: Screen Flicker issue
  • (2025-06-06) Alex Kent: I wish I could give this 5 stars but I can't. The biggest problem with this extension is that it is so bad at selecting which video to move into P-in-P mode. If there are multiple videos on a webpage, you can click the extension while having your video playing, and instead of selecting the one that IS CURRENTLY PLAYING, it selects some random video on the site you haven't even touched yet. And the worst part is there's no way to correct its selection. You're just stuck with it. Then you have the other annoyances. Like, not having a 5 or 10 sec fast forward/reverse option. I mean come on now, that should be standard. If I have to keep the tab open just to forward through a video, it defeats the whole purpose of picture-in-picture! There isn't even an option to mute the video. You're forced to mute your whole laptop or, if you're on chrome, mute the tab by clicking and selecting. For this extension to be developed by Google themselves, I have higher standards.
  • (2025-06-04) smruti ranjan: Even after removing the extension from Chrome, Picture-in-Picture is still activating automatically on some sites.
  • (2025-06-04) Emil Axelsson: Why does the plugin come with permission to read and change data on all websites as default when it's not needed? Change the plugin settings to "On specific sites" and add these domains: https://www.youtube.com/* https://youtu.be/*
  • (2025-06-02) Design Preview: nice extensions
  • (2025-05-31) kA KA: Literally life saver when i want to play a game and watch a video
  • (2025-05-28) Abhishek Gupta: Needs Firefox level PiP features - Mute - Full timeline and +5 and -5 sec back and forth buttons - Full-screen - Sub-titles Will change my review if you build any of these features! Also, why does the same extension have more features on Brave than on Chrome?!!!
  • (2025-05-23) Thomas: Dudes couldn't you put -5 secs and +5 secs buttons??
  • (2025-05-19) Khemani: Works perfectly! I couldn't ask for better! 😌
