• (2023-08-08) Jon Trudel: I've been using it for Chrome for a while, but ran into a configuration issue, so I unintentionally deleted the extension. I reloaded it, and asked for a co-worker's proxy config. He sent it to me, and it's a json file, since he uses Firefox. His config was incompatible with the Chrome version. It was at that point that I realized the Chrome version is 3.071, and the latest version in FireFox is 7.5.1. Why the huge discrepancy? I am still disappointed, because the problem now is that I've recreated the proxies as I thought they were, but I can't get it to work. This, of course, is due to the 3.071 version does not save/backup the config! Quite disappointed, but I guess their audience uses other browsers than chrome. Time to reinvestigate the state of Firefox!

But as someone who routinely tunnels multiple networks with ssh for remote support and who always tunnels my connections out of corporate environments, this tool allows those connections to just work without constant messing with proxy settings. It is a must have in my developers tool kit. If you're not of the mindset of a developer you will probably find this useless frustrating and give it one star.

When Chrome is closed then re-opened, all login / password credentials will be blanked. - For me, I have had Foxy Proxy disable itself with NO input from me whatsoever on multiple occasions. (Foxy Proxy extension menu spontaneously goes to "Disable FoxyProxy" on its own!) That is ***HUGE***. USER BEWARE OF THIS!!! Running version FoxyProxy 4.6.5 on Firefox is rock solid. This in its current state is a complete disaster. I can't for the life of me understand why everyone wants to use Chrome.

• (2018-07-30) Walter Pratt: Folks completely broken both import and export. Export is destroyed by google API change, which is not followed by developers. Import is seriously ducked up because it would not accept Firefox's config. Add here Google's ducking with user's profile with often and constant user data deletion, and voila: you have FoxyProxy isolated in vacuum of stupidity. I 'm not going to config this extension manually ever again. Either developers fix import/export, or GTFO.

Время от времени при старте браузера вылезает окно с запросом авторизации, но если в нем нажать "Отмена" все работает как ни в чем не бывало.

  Hi, recently I had some issues with my network. and after a quick check I found that Foxy proxy is still enabled on my default VPN, even when I selected 'Disable FoxyProxy' from the extension popup. ( checked using ip-chicken with foxy-proxy disabled, and compared to IP received in incognito mode ).
