i don't know how to use it. could i get some help i tried reading the instuctions first.
You need to run a batch file that launches a Tor connection in cmd, then go back to Chrome... It's essentially just the Onion browser with extra steps. What's the point?

Yes, it does work, but you need to read the FAQ after installing the browser extension. In a nutshell, you need to install a little program, downloadable on GitHub, and run it (it will open in the terminal). It acts as a proxy server in the background. Then you need to open your browser extension options, and to get it connected to the local TOR proxy (click the purple bunch of grapes logo). Then go to your favorite .onion web sites, from your favorite web browser, and the websites will show up just like they would in TOR.

When you click on the run.sh file on MacOS it does not start, but only calls a text editor. Besides there is no win folder in mac.zip archive as indicated in your FAQ 2.

Works great! The only thing I'm missing is the possibility to configure a hotkey to turn it on and off.

Not compatable with chromebook. Activate the original proxy with the original browser, otherwise this isn't any better than a chrome vpn extension.
funciona muito bem

Отлично работает. Тор всегда запущен в фоне, приложение само все нашло, само подключилось, пусть депутаты своим чебурнетом пользуются, а я свободный человек.
