- (2025-06-30) info psychomeasure: it works... sometimes.... which is a shame considering it comes from notion ltself
- (2025-06-12) Augusto Malone: Been using this for a long time and it performs satisfactorily. However, just today I experienced some sort of bug - It wouldn't function on some pages and returns this remark" Please wait while your request is being verified...". But it is not consistent - other webpages are okay. And this is my first time to encounter this error...
- (2025-05-23) Andre: I'm not understanding why it's being so downvoted. As of today, extension is working good and as intended: it saves to page content to My Links. I just wished it had the tag field to fill it.
- (2025-05-21) 박준하: Please go online to save to Notion
- (2025-05-21) Emma Yann Zhang: Please go online to save to Notion (while I am online to post this review). I also cannot set a default database, or remember the last one I clipped to. I have to manually choose the same database every time I save something. I am migrating from Evernote to Notion. I like the customization Notion offers but please fix your web clipper!
- (2025-05-20) Valérie Lechêne: I love this extension which I have used on daily basis for years. Today for some reason it's not working - it tells me to go online to save. I am online. I closed down my entire machine and restarted and it did not solve the issue. I am leaving a low review today to bring attention to this issue. Would gladly give 4 stars as soon as it's back. 4 starts because it syncs slowly with notion.
- (2025-05-20) Phil: Notion web clipper not working. tells me to go online to save. Urrrgh.
- (2025-05-20) Benoy Joseph: it's not been working since morning it says.. notion needs to be online, my notion account is signed in and online
- (2025-05-20) mingdao Y: "Please go online to save to Notion."
- (2025-05-08) Andrew Bank: This extension has been a dud for a very long time. Why hasn't Notion fixed it?? Clipping web pages does nearly nothing other than bring the URL into a new page in Notion. I don't need the URL, I need the actual content of the page or article!! @notion Please fix this!
- (2025-04-14) K D: Hard to use Cannot wrap the webpage, just save the url. It is faster to copy the url directly rather than use that.
- (2025-01-22) Toni Maxx: I’ve been using Notion for about a month and really appreciate how it helps me organize my notes—especially with toggle-able (collapsible) sections that prevent the dreaded long-scroll view. Naturally, I was excited to try this official Notion Web Clipper, hoping it could clip either specific excerpts or entire pages, and maybe even reformat the content for better readability.
- (2025-01-10) Dirk Hopfl: I was expecting more from Notion. So itself. For every site I clip, a new My Links page is created. Within it, another page with the link and the article is created. I would love to see that within My Link, all clips are saved so that I can distribute them to other pages when needed.
- (2025-01-07) Marcio Arantes: This extension used to work on any web page. Now adding an article from Medium only copy 1/3 of it. It seems to fail when copying code blocks. Private notion chrome extension still works fine.
- (2024-12-30) Artur Brynka: Does not save a full page - only title and link to it. Useless. Evernote Web Clipper was 100 times better.
- (2024-12-24) Artemi Lebedev: Poor settings
- (2024-12-15) Nur Ahmad Furlong: Used to work very well, but now only saves the title and a link to the chatgpt shortlink, doesn't transfer the content any longer. Is it maybe related to new features in chatgpt like canvases that this extension cannot cater for?
- (2024-12-03) Aishwariya Laxmi: I have just added it to my Chrome browser. Waiting to see the magic.
- (2024-11-25) Nolan O'Reilly: Doesn't let you set up templates or prepopulate fields within databases that you save to, just saves to the database. The "Save To Notion" Chrome extension is what I use that gives me access to these features.
- (2024-11-20) Chris Dupont: I used to love this extension. It worked great at first, but now it just randomly stops working. Sometimes it doesn’t even show up. I’ve tried refreshing and restarting, but nothing helps. I randomly found ClipKeep, and it’s been way more reliable. So, I’m uninstalling this one. Hopefully, it gets fixed soon!
- (2024-11-16) Nils Bongarts: At Tooltivity.com, we manually test productivity browser extensions and provide honest and detailed reviews. Notion Web Clipper received an good rating of 7.3 in our tests. In our evaluation, we considered the categories of features, design, ease of use, security & privacy, value for money and performance. You can find the full test report here: https://tooltivity.com/extensions/notion-web-clipper
- (2024-11-14) Ernest Chan: I'm not sure if my notion pages and database has grown too much in size or what, it is now no longer able to correctly display the databases/pages in the extension
- (2024-11-14) Ankita Nandi: WONDERFULLY HELPFUL!
- (2024-10-24) Oleksandr Sukhorukov: To ensure that the text is captured by the web clipper, open the note and wait for a few seconds. It will sync page content, and then you can close the note. If it helped, a like from you would be appreciated :)
- (2024-10-16) Adrian G: Very basic, would love the option to save more than the url and title
- (2024-10-05) Joe Westlake: Rarely works anymore, only saves the link and page title.
- (2024-09-16) Edgar Hipp: not working, it just saves the link but not the content ...
- (2024-09-14) Allen Alberti: Trying this out after Evernote has become a one star app down from a five star app. it has a lot of potential and could be an Evernote killer but it's not there yet.
- (2024-08-22) dong junwu: It doesn't support saving mathematical formulas in web pages, which is a fatal problem for many of my applications.
- (2024-08-21) Maša Piaredryj: The extension does the bare minimum, but I'm completely fine with it. I would really appreciate if you add more flexibility: - to configure a default database once with no awkward checking if I didn't choose 'New links database' by mistake every time I check something; - fields mapping, e.g. "page title -> the column 'My name' of my database 'Books'", "url -> the column 'Link' of my database 'Books'" etc.; - to configure if I want to save page content or not; - to set tags (and other fields) right upon the page saving in extension popup (like it's done in Raindrop extension for example). With those features added, the extension would be perfect for me.
- (2024-08-12) Jazie Miller: Does what it's supposed to do - the default is a little annoying. TL;DR Make a database with a Name column and Links column and it'll save it in a way you can see the URL at a glance. I had a database already made (before I got this extension) with a column with a links property, when I save a page to that database it puts the link in the correct column. The default is to make a "New links database" and that is kinda annoying. I accidentally let it do that a couple of times but it still copied the link just fine. You just have to click to the page it makes and you'll find the URL in the details.
- (2024-08-12) ben palmer: Having the same issue. Webpage not saving - just URL and title. Have contacted Notion to ask them to look into this. Will update review if they're able to resolve it.
- (2024-07-24) Chester Bullock: Does not save the webpage as the description implies, it just saves the URL and title. Pretty useless really, since I can do that with bookmarks.
- (2024-06-24) James Chan: only clipped the title and the URL but no content :(
- (2024-06-09) Ishita: It only clips a little bit of a webpage, not all of it
- (2024-05-15) Adam Chopko: Didn't clip the page but just provided the URL. @Notion: Please fix!
- (2024-05-13) Dan Baronetti: doesnt take a screenshot
- (2024-05-10) J P: Saves the title and the URL, but not the content.
- (2024-05-03) Darin Stewart: I really wanted to switch from Evernote to Notion but the import simply does not work. It connects to the Evernote account, but does not show or allow any items to be selected for import. Very disappointing.
- (2024-03-30) Harry Bouch: Unlike others have said, it seems to clip the content perfectly for me. Perhaps the issue has been resolved or perhaps the issue is only present on some browsers or OS. As for the "Please go online to save to Notion" issue, I resolved this by simply logging into notion in my browser and then closing the tab again. However, the biggest issue in my opinion is that I can't select a tag or fill in any other properties to save with it. I have a database of eBooks, podcasts, videos, articles, etc. Each one has a different tag and a different icon, but there is no way to select this. It always leaves other properties blank, no matter what. So you have to go in to Notion and manually edit it, which sort of defeats the purpose. I really hope they improve this extension soon because it could be a very powerful tool if done correctly.
- (2024-03-21) Vernon Wharff: It no longer clips the webpage; it simply saves a link.
- (2024-03-19) Luis Bispo: Not showing the thumbnails on gallery view
- (2024-02-29) SHIVSHANKAR JOKARE: Buggy
- (2024-02-23) John Lianoglou: The extension is merely adequate. You can send content into Notion reasonably well, but there are so many missed opportunities. Here are just two that I personally think could make a huge difference: 1. Poor support if using multiple databases. My partner and I share a Notion workspace to help us keep track of life. Three examples of databases we use frequently are products to try / buy (used for shopping staples and to manage gifting for bdays, anniversary, and christmas); stuff to watch (movies, TV, etc); and travel ideas. But recently we added an Apartments database because we're preparing to move, and it's really tedious to switch between these. If you send content to more than one database, it's a rough experience. Would love to see Notion have a way to pin some favorite DBs. 2. Missing support for being able to define entry attributes in the destination database. From examples above, could have really used a way to quickly input data for the rent, number of bedrooms, etc columns of that Apartments database… or to be able to specify some categories for the products database from the share dialog. See Savetonotion.so (it's a 3rd party premium service, fwiw) for an example of how powerful this could be. Anyway, as I'd mentioned at the start: it's adequate.
- (2024-02-23) Alistair Henderson: Not working. No content captured in Chrome or Safari extensions. Evernote webclipper works perfectly when tested with the same webpages.
- (2024-02-22) Jesse Rope: Used to save page content but now I'm only getting empty pages.
- (2024-02-21) Michael: Doesn't clip web pages, only link gets saved. More like "Notion web page link saver"
- (2024-02-21) Rockson CHAN: stop clipping content from web page or youtube channel but add url link to notion page property instead!! not the thing I am hoping for and please bring the old feature back !!!
- (2024-02-21) Bart van Poll: Worked awesome, but stopped actually saving the content of a page I clipped recently. Now I only see the link... 5 stars when resolved. I love Notion!
- (2024-02-20) Catherine Tang: I love this extension because it saves the ACTUAL content from the web page. But it stoped clipping the content a few days ago - now only the link gets saved. Please fix it!!!
