• (2016-02-09) Paul: Micheal, You claim it can be uninstalled, yes it can, but it is reinstalled automatically on the next launch of Chrome. So in that respect it can not be removed, only disabled. Using the method you suggest "chrome://extensions/ and removing the app there, or you can right click the extension and click on "Remove from Chrome". " just results in the extension reinstalling itself on the next launch of Chrome. I have found no permanent method of removing this app from Chrome
• (2015-11-04) Jad Kawwa: The extension cannot be uninstalled. I have already attempted almost every method I can think of, and while all of them DO remove the extension, it just reinstalls itself on the next restart of the browser/device, or even on sign-ins to new devices. Methods attempted also included the following: "You can uninstall the application by going to chrome://extensions/ and removing the app there, or you can right click the extension and click on 'Remove from Chrome'. " I find it hard to believe that this isn't malware.

  I never installed it, but yet it pops up everytime i launch chrome. Even as i type this, it is asking me to add the extension to chrome even though I can see the stupid keycode logo in my sidebar. Obviously chrome doesnt even have a record of it being added.I have attempted to remove it multiple times and even using the instructions you provided. Seriously considering not using chrome anymore because of this extension as it also slows down the browser, but in the interim I will continue to find ways to get this app banned from the web store. Please take some of the feedback from the other people posting about your app and just delete it from the store. This way you can save what reputation you have left as a developer.

  I Have the issue of it reinstalling itself. I have tried all methods including corrupting the files so it would not work. Even this didnt work for long.
