Automatically redirects AMP pages to their canonical HTML equivalent.
Automatically redirects any Accelerated Mobile Page (AMP) pages to their regular HTML equivalent.
When you see an AMP page, you’re likely seeing a page served directly by Bing or Google who can suck in information about what you do on that page. Keep the web decentralized and say “No!” to search engines that want to take control over the web.
AMP pages are designed for small-screen devices and often don’t translate well to larger screens. The extension can be especially useful if you receive links from people who’re on their mobile devices while you’re on your desktop computer.

- (2022-03-13) Rogzca: Excelente extensión, funcionando perfectamente en las versiones de Yandex para móvil.
- (2021-10-26) Rostislav Turecek: Thanks, works on kiwi. (Its own option for removing amp is bugged)
- (2021-10-06) Ryan Lee: Mostly pretty good, but new articles (the Washington Post in particular) seem to slip by for whatever reason. I'd like that fixed.
- (2021-08-08) Martin Griffis: This works on Kiwi Browser (based on Chrome) on Android. Awesome when adblocking amp project domain
- (2020-12-09) Christopher McEwen: Does exactly what it says. Google shouldn't allow AMP links for their desktop browser in the first place, but this fixes that.
- (2020-12-06) Brixter Tabun: I want to be directed to the actual website, not to google's cache. Thanks!
- (2019-09-15) Nam Eric Doan: Works well, and you don't even remember that it's installed. Besides issues surrounding anti-competitiveness and taking the browsing choices from users, AMP pages don't render everything correctly. I was reading an article on a major news site and noticed missing chunks of embedded twitter posts, and immediately checked to see that it was indeed an AMP link. Now, this may have been caused by AMP links not mixing well with Ad Block Plus, but I sure as hell am not uninstalling that. Downloading this extension let me see the all the content that was missing.
- (2019-06-13) Ben Carr: Works as described. Very pleased with it, no more manual removing amp related strings from URLS!
- (2019-05-31) Miguel Cruz: Works beautifully with kiwi browser
- (2019-02-07) Arno Nymos: AMP pages are a pain in the back for blocking ads. Thanks to this wonderful extension, Firefox got the default browser at my mobile device. Thank god, Firefox is there and allows extensions. And I'm honest: My default browser on my PC is Google Chrome. Thanks again for this masterpiece!
