A note about affiliate links:
One of the features of Augmented Steam is showing you the best price out of the selection of stores, as well as the best historical price. We have affiliate relationship with some of these stores, and the extra links that are added may be affiliate links. You can turn this feature completely off, or filter which stores you want to be included. We will never modify the existing links, or links from other extension, with our own affiliate links.

- Have been using it for years and I thought the tweaks it does to Valve's storefront were great. But adding a generative AI service to sum up user reviews and having that on by default is not a good look. Maybe it'll be reversed or at least not be on by default, but I cannot recommend this anymore.

- The addition of VaporLens isnt very intrusive (it takes the same space as 2-3 full size steam reviews), It is kind of nice to be able to see a quick breakdown of the biggest positives/negatives, and it can be turned off by going to Manage Extensions > click details on Augmented Steam > click Extension Options > on the left select App page > move slider to the left for Show VaporLens Knowing that "AI" is both poorly understood and very controversial it was inevitable people would get upset with the addition of a review summary even if its a feature that would have been appreciated before the AI boom. SteamPeek uses its own algorithm so if this is a point of contention for you then you can disable that as well right next to the VaporLens setting.

- Disgraceful. > Vapor lens is added, opens a "discussion" where dialogue is heavily favored towards AI, because author was going to keep it in anyway, and by default too, like he did before. To be honest, Vaporlens is about the most useless AI product, and I can think of many other AI tools that are signficantly better. I don't know why this author is so hard pressed to add in Vaporlens, but it's nothing good. Either way, I recommend using gg.deals or steam inventory helper, instead of supporting a community and author who acts completely in bad faith.

- Great extension. (Regarding the AI controversy: I think VaporLens is a great addition to AS. Steam users nowadays tend leave unhelpful, stupid, point-farming reviews that get pushed to the top pages, leaving half of the reviews you see as complete nonsense. VaporLens seems to accurately filter out this bullsh*t and truly, in my opinion, provides a general insight to the user about the product they wish to purchase; this alone makes it a worthwhile addition.)

- Good extension, does what it says on the tin. Would be nice if Valve implemented some of these features themselves, but I'm not holding my breath. In regards to VaporLens & AI: please research exactly how recommendation algorithms work. I regret to inform you that AI has been around a lot longer than some of you seem to think, and most of you have been using it every day for years without realizing it. Funny how I don't see any complaining about the SteamPeek integration. Guess what SteamPeek uses? Recommendation algorithms. QUICK, BETTER REMOVE IT!!!!! IT'S THE EVIL AI AGAIN!!!! (SteamPeek also has a partner website at the bottom of the page that facilitates purchasing gray market keys and entire accounts for access to games, but apparently that's not as unethical as *checks notes* filtering out garbage one-liner Steam reviews) I'm rambling now. This kind of thing shouldn't even be up for a vote for such an absurd reason, and patch notes should never include several paragraphs of kowtowing for doing nothing wrong. But whatever.

- One of, if not the best Steam extension. I don't have a problem with Vaporlens, it's useful, I don't see the issue.
- Kale Griffiths
- Geez people need to get with the times. This is a very good and useful application of AI that has very few of the usual negatives around AI. People are just scared of the word "AI" I swear.
- Luxes
- Incredibly useful extension, the steam store always feels lacking when using the steam app or another browser without this installed. Highly recommended The addition of Vaporlens is super cool. People too often have an immediate reactionary kick against anything AI just cause. I'd love to see it remain in future versions of the extension, with the ability for those uninterested to disable/hide it permanently. One thing that could however be good to include on the Vaporlens section is a small disclaimer, saying something along the lines of that although this is an AI aggregated summary, that one should take it with a grain of salt and not neglect reading individual reviews
- M Elliott
- Keep VaporLens please. I understand AI skepticism, but this is a valuable tool that hurts nobody. No human loses a job because I am able to see a few more related games on a Steam page.
- Steve Payne
- I like VaporLens and vote for it to stay. It is much better than the mostly useless one-liner Steam reviews.
- euge ugrenev
- I vote for VaporLens going away, don't like it
- Eva
- I vote for the addition of VaporLens staying. I usually avoid AI in things but the use of AI isn't the problem, the problem is whenever people abuse it and overuse it.
- Comrade Suhov
- Vapor Lens is a very nice addition to this extension. When you don't feel like reading through several walls of text and one-liners, it let's you see a quick summary, and, in case you have still answers, you can start pocking around the actual reviews.

- Positive vote for 4.5.1, don't listen to mindless haters, just make the option to turn if off more visible as it seems that the haters are blind, and maybe provide a prompt for new installations/updates to turn it on/off on first start/install.
- Garchie C
- This is a vote (v4.5.1). I also think "the idea of VaporLens is solid, and provides additional value". However, given the existence of certain users, I suggest providing a clear option to enable or disable visibility upon first display, so that those who don't want to use it won't see it. Ultimately, it's just an interface for displaying information on that website conveniently. By the way, I don't think voting justifies giving a low score. Don't you think this extension is useful?
- Captain N
- One more negative review because of the addition of the AI-powered VaporLens feature and a vote to remove it from the next release.
- Mindes Endian
- Suddenly added AI slop to every store page by default. What are you thinking?
- Даня «offkoenig» Казахов
- IDK nothing new SIH better
- Chris Wright
- Added some AI review summary that takes up so much room with no option to disable.
- Maverynthia Crowinthas
- Added some AI/LLM BS for reviews from someone who looks up to a misogynistic transphobe. Stop linking to, or even entertaining AI BS
- Vin Vin
- Pricing in steam store doesn't follow my region and can't be set or disable, showing USD which is more expensive and irrelevant. The "SteamDB" extension is much better and more accurate. I like the note function though. As for steamdb site, only owned games are color coded, did not show ignored or Wishlist game in color as "SteamDB" extension does.

- Just started using it, but so far it's great. Thank you

- Thanks devs. This extension is way better than the other one that is filled with horrendous ammount of ads everywhere with casino scam stuff and also they bot their reviews on google store. If you could, it would be ideal if you add inventory multi selling feature.

- Love it

- If you're a part of the steamcommunity.com you need this extension. I think the developer has done a great job with this, and 300,000+ users can't be wrong.
- Kristian Popovych
- Completely useless in terms of showing "current best (price)" and "historical low" if you are using a currency that is different from USD/GBP/EUR. It just converts the USD into the currency you set as the main one. The problem is, Steam doesn't just convert USD/GBP/EUR into your currency, but it has regional prices.
- Jonas Handtke
- Really nice Extension but could you add a Search Filter for the Workshop where you can search for Mods that are depends on other mod. So you can search mods that uses the other mod as a dependency.

- This used to ba Great extension for Steam, with region prices, links to StreamDb; IsTherAnyDeal(ITAD). No so anymore. Now you NEED to create a accounts on 3rd party sites to "give them permisjon to remove item in you Wishlist etc! BullS**T ITAD or AugementedSteam do NOT need to have permissions to do ANYTHING with your Steam Account besides reading your library for "items you already own". IT most certainly DO NOT need permissions sat to: read your Waitlist add, remove or edit games in your Waitlist <-- read your Collection add, remove or edit games in your Collection <-- read your game notes and tags add, remove or edit your game notes and tags <--

- Amazing, can't imagine non having it! Highly recommended!

- I can't even imagine using steam without this extension. It is a great add-on, but occassionally breaks down for days at a time (probably due to there being few developers). Right now it's broken for me and many other people, but I still have it installed at all times. Overall a good extension and a must have.
- H M
- Steampeek tab function longer broken abanded.

- GOOD BUT THE EMPTY WISHLIST BUTTON DOES'NT WORK, FOR ME AT LEAST.

- add note function not working, all old notes on the steam game's store page gone now :( EDIT WORKING AGAIN :)
- Alvin Ian
- not working, extension just grey out even restart browser, relogging steam account. No setting in the extension either...

- Superb duperb extension! So useful! Helps me save a ton!

- If you're having trouble adding items to cart, disable "Prevent redirection when adding items to your Cart" under Options > Store > General.
- Jerry Murphy
- This is a good and very useful extension however, because Valve has updated the way with how you add an item to your cart, the extension blocks it from adding to or updating the cart and it is only when I disable the extension that the problem is fixed.

- Перестала работать корзина. Игры просто не кладутся в неё
- Raven
- Used to be amazing but it's became pathetic in recent past. It spends 95% of the time not working, which makes it rather useless. Not sure why the devs seem to have abandoned it as it was so helpful. As much as I hate to say it, you should avoid this extension.
- John II
- Sad to see features being removed, the estimated sales / owners / avg playtime was one of the primary features I used this for but now it only shows "Current Players". Though who knows how long that one will remain.
