Activate the dark theme on the new tab in Google Chrome with a single click. With the night mode for your home page, you'll help your eyes and make your browser more beautiful!
By clicking "Add to chrome", I accept and agree to installing the Dark Tab extension and setting Chrome™ New Tab to that provided by the service and the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Search engine services will be provided by Microsoft Bing.
Apart from the dark theme, our new tab page has a number of wonderful features:
- Set dark background photos for your browser's home page.
- Turn on automatic rotation of background photos
- Enjoy beautiful and stylish minimalistic design with easy to use visual bookmarks (= speed dials) for one click access to your favorite websites
- Customize the look of visual bookmarks and choose beautiful covers for them
- Create folders for visual bookmarks to keep them organized
This night mode extension is completely free with no in-app purchases.
During the installation process, the browser will ask you for permissions. We use the smallest set of permissions possible to give you the full functionality of the plugin.
Permissions description:
- to get titles of websites automatically when they are added to visual bookmarks.
- tabs - to create service tabs when adding a new website to speed dial from the context menu
- history - to browse recently visited websites in the new tab
- chrome://favicon/ - to change the favicon of the new tab
- storage & unlimitedStorage - to store your settings and wallpapers
- contextMenus - to add new visual bookmarks to the home page of any website via the context menu
This extension is independent and not associated with other popular new tab or speed dial extensions in the Chrome Web Store such as Infinity New Tab, Momentum, CaretTab, FVD Speed Dial or others.

5月份没更新前好用些，可以选择搜索引擎，现在只可以默认bing，太不人性化了

웹 페이지 어둡게 잘 만들어 줬었는데, 이제 새 탭만 지맘대로 바꾸는 쓸모 없는 프로그램이 되었음. 개발자가 고치기 전 까지는 별 한개.

purr good asf new tab page + allows you to choose a custom background. theres a lot of customizations you can make so that your home page suits your needs

hey, didn't you make the hotkey for search box? i pressed the anything keys by mistake, on some web site, and a popup came on. it's search box of this extension. but now i forgotten that i pressed which keys. let me know it. thank you.
It doesn't work on new tab. google.com is not new tab.

It would be perfect if I could add a site to the blacklist so that dark mode does not apply specifically on it, I propose that instead of "Apply on all sites" it should be "Add to black list", much more convenient than applying dark mode for each site, especially if it is not applied for all sites. But overall, it's the best Dark Mode I've found on the net. Thanks to Developer.
Знаете, что бывает когда 100500 вкладок браузера начинают одновременно обновляться? Вот я узнал. С другим подобным расширением такого не было (правда перед его использованием я перезапустил браузер, но в любом случае подобного не должно быть).

I absolutely love this extension, the dark mode is almost identical to mobile dark mode! But I really wish I could disable the special new tab, I already had the default new tab in dark mode, chrome let's you do that.

Worked okay at best, but I am uninstalling ONLY because it forces you to use a different search engine. Even when set to Google/Bing/DDG/Etc, you're sent through a sketchy redirect before being shown your search. No thanks.

another new start page ruined by the dev using site-shot or other website API, they don't work half the time and are garbage, just put a inbuild website preview generator that works.

Muy buenas tengan creadores y desarrolladores de esta extencion, en el tiempo en que la llevo usando me ha parecido excelente, pero hay un problema con las ventanas de acceso rapido y es que no hay forma de colocar un numero para limitar su creacion; Actualmente esta es la mejor opcion de poder agregar en ventanas el acceso rapido a paginas web, pero cada vez que agrego este me sigue creando ventanas vacias, lo cual daña la apariencia. Asi que se les agradeceria si pueden colocar una opcion de numero modificable para poder limitar las ventanas y el numero que puede haber para mostrarse
