Works by making a single call to the chrome.downloads.setShelfEnabled API. Doesn't collect any data, run anything in the background or consume memory.

- Works very well. I wish it had a way of telling download speed and progress. I would rather allow a temporary shelf than have no feedback, but a dynamic toolbar icon would be ideal.

- Exactly what I wanted. Stops the (very annoying) Download shelf from appearing. Does not affect download location or recent download information. Brilliant!
