SafeSocial: Toxicity Checker

SafeSocial is an AI-powered Social Media Assistant that warns you before you do something that hurts your brand on Social Media. Adding SafeSocial to Chrome means that your posts on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn can be free of language that creates a negative sentiment and causes you to be blocked or unfollowed by others. Sometimes you’re too quick to post something that will affect others.

SafeSocial analyzes text to identify these types of negative words and phrases:

Toxicity
Toxicity in online social spaces is defined as... "a rude, disrespectful, or unreasonable comment that is likely to make you leave a discussion." The opposite of toxic is “healthy.”

Attacks
Attacks against a person or group create a negative perception of your brand and can result in an account being suspended

Profanity
Even as profanity is used more often in everyday conversation, TV, music, and movies, in advertising it’s still considered taboo
