A/B Toggle monitors a base64 encoded cookie value that contains ab test data and generates toggles to quickly switch between variants. Custom separator and split characters allow for multiple ab test toggles to be generated.
The separator character(s) defines when an ab test string finishes. The split character(s) distinguishes the test id and the variant value.

Dear Mr Feakes, There is a release going out in the near future (next week) which will be updating the ab cookie to include an optional assigned date/time. This breaks this beautiful extension :( The new cookie format will be: {id}-{ab}~{datetime}|{id}-{ab}|{id}-{ab} We dont need to know the datetime so it can be ignored right of the tilde (~). Please can this be fixed at your earliest (now) convenience :) Kind regards Midas.
