- I have had Trend Micro for at least 4 years. It has been the best computer and browser security i have ever used. I agree with Plague (review Sept 7, 2021) that reviews by John and James with their 1 star rating were not valid reviews but only put up by some folks from a competing site that is no competition at all but a scam.

- first of all this is a great security app. second of all i have done intensive researching on the 2 users "John" and "JAMES" and have concluded that most of those rated 1 reviews are from the same address and are linked to a company known as "Synapse X", a company notorious for selling exploitation applications to absolutely anyone for as little as below 5 dollars. These people are evidently fake. 'Trend Micro Security' is not a scam. I have owned it for less than 2 years and it has saved my computer from 5 different adwares, and a trojan virus. You can choose who to believe.. thats your choice. But make the RIGHT choice. 'Trend Micro Security' is the internets guardian angel.

- I do not think that TREND MICRO SECURITY for MICROSOFT EDGE makes browsing the web safer at all. It's cloud-enabled does not provide security at all against major web threats such as phishing, banking, and technical support scams, as well as identity theft. I is not any good.

- I have gotten 3 emails to add Trend Micro to Edge this week. I have clicked install each time. In a day or two I'll get another email about the same thing. I'm not sure this program is for MS Edge. It works fine on all the other browsers. No problems except for Edge.

- If you are wondering if the extension is installed just Google something. If the extension is installed, all of the websites that it deems safe will have a green box around them on the Google search results.

- Extremely difficult and non-user friendly :( And I'm computer savvy, I still don't know if I have protection, Do Not recommend, and Geek Squad wasn't helpful @ all. If I could zero stars I would!
