Gumbo is a spiritual successor to Twitch Now that allows you to access your Twitch experience outside the main ecosystem.
From its user interface, you can check your followed channels and track live streams, as well as discover the popular streams and categories of the moment, all with the possibility to personalize your experience thanks to the multitude of preferences at your disposal.
This extension also informs you when a channel goes online or after a category change, with the option to pick the notifications you want.

- It worked perfectly until 1 month ago when it started to fail and many notifications about the start of the stream are not shown... I already tried to reinstall it but nothing... it's still the same.

- If you use Privacy Badger Extension try disabling it. For some reason its blocking access to Gumbo, if you disable it, it should work again.

- This is an excellent Chrome extension for receiving notifications when your preferred streamers go live. Unlike other Twitch notifiers in the Chrome webstore, it has an impressive User Interface and distinctive design in my opinion. One area for improvement could be the addition of an auto-refresher feature, as manual refreshing occasionally leads to missing some streams.

- Great "Twitch Now" replacement, thanks for filling the niche on the Chrome Store. Comfortable to use. My only issue is that it doesn't seem to auto-refresh too often; possible to miss streams going live sometimes. Couldn't find a setting for that.

- La extensión está muy bien, hace lo que promete. Lo único que le hace falta para ser perfecta es que notificara los streams con un sonido, ya que no siempre estas mirando el navegador, y eso seria de mucha ayuda si está en segundo plano. Me gustaria que añadieran esa opción.

- Extension stopped working correctly, it randomly updates if it updates at all, manually updating does not work either because its stimply stuck and you have to reload the extension in the settings which sometimes also does not work.

Turns out I needed to disable ublock matrix and origin. Once I did that I was able to login and give permissions. I have now turned them back and and the extension is working as intended. The extension is well made and feature rich. Thanks!

- Funktioniert nun auch seit Monaten nicht mehr richtig. Das Addon funktioniert nur nach dem Start des Browsers. Spätere Aktualisierung ist nur möglich durch Neustart des Browsers, demnach eigentlich nutzlos.
