Multi-Account Containers: Isolate your web activities.
Multi-Account Containers helps you keep work, personal, banking, and side-project logins neatly separated so you can switch contexts without constant sign-outs. From the toolbar popup, you can quickly choose a container, open or move the current site into that context, and keep related tabs together for cleaner, safer browsing. The extension is designed to be lightweight and privacy-minded: it saves only your container rules and preferences locally, and it never reads page content or sends data to external servers. It asks for minimal permissions—“storage” to remember your settings and rules, and “tabs” to open, update, and organize tabs when you switch contexts—matching what’s declared in the manifest.

- It doesn’t work. It creates the containers, but it doesn’t isolate the pages. When assigning a page to a container, all tabs under the same domain end up in that container. You can’t assign it to a new one to isolate sessions, cookies, etc.
