Save NTS shows for later, in one click.
NTS Playlist Saver lets you build your own library of NTS episodes: save current shows, organise them into playlists, tag by mood, and shuffle-play straight from your browser.
What it does
Detects the current episode and “up next” shows on nts.live episode pages.
Saves episodes into a default playlist or into custom playlists you create.
Lets you tag episodes (e.g. ambient, vocal, deep focus, party) and filter by tags.
Adds a Library view with:
Multiple playlists
Search inside a playlist
Sort by newest/oldest added, title, show name, or broadcast date
List or grid layout
Shuffle play (open a random episode that matches your filters)
Lets you customise playlists with emoji and colour for a quick visual “mood” library.
Shows a recently added strip so you can jump back into what you just saved.
Artist filter: click the show/artist name in a card to filter playlists that contain that artist, click again to clear.
Optional right-click menu (context menu) on NTS episode links:
“Save NTS episode to playlist…” → choose the playlist without opening the page.
How it works
Runs on nts.live episode pages to read the current episode and “up next” metadata (title, show name, image, location, date, URL).
Stores your saved episodes and playlists locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local.
No accounts, no cloud backend, no tracking.
