Hindsight. Hindsight is a chrome extension with a big mission--to finally give us a good idea about which parts of the internet serve our interests, and which parts rob of us of our time to serve others' interests. Together--by tracking the reasons we use sites like facebook and okcupid, how those things work out for us, and what alternatives there are--we can start to figure out how the internet helps people, and how it doesn't.

- (2017-06-04) Pat Corden: can't get it to work... clicking sign in does nothing :(
- (2016-10-31) Gordon McDonald: A beautiful idea, but a few problems: 1) I cannot see how I have previously rated sites. So it is just collecting my data without giving me any feedback. 2) It records sites for hours and hours when they were actually inactive/the computer was asleep etc. and maybe I only visited the site for 5 minutes before shutting the lid on my laptop.
