Custom Calendar Background

Unable to use the extension, after downloading it, the icon would stay inactive. Tried everything, but nothing, what a pity.

It seems okay, but I'd like to be able to upload my own background image. Is that possilbe and if so, how? I entered the path to my image on my pc but it does nothing. Nevermind, I figured it out. ;-)

Hello, overall, pretty cool! One issue though: the weekends (Saturday and Sunday) are not transparent and have a white background that covers the background imge.

I love the idea, but whenever I downloaded this and was using it, my description of timeblocks, the text of it was unreadable with this extension, it was all dark.

This is the WORST! No variety, NOT user friendly. A REAL DISAPPOINTMENT! Come on GOOGLE, aren't you INNOVATORS??? THIS IS SOOO ARCHAIC. I would give ZERO STARS if it was an option. REFUND PLEASE!!!

I tried using it but I cant change the background for some reason I found the button but it wants URL image files which I found some but all the them didnt work so I might need to be fixed

For those who are struggling to find where to change the image, click 'Extension' > go to 'Manage Extension' and click > 'Extension Options'. You should be able to see the "Custom Calendar Background options" page.

been using Custom Calendar Background for YEARS; just Added to another Google-account['s Calendar] - creating a warm, welcoming Calendar-space makes my Google Calendar experience easier on the eyes, for sure: thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU Patrick :D

I prefer solid color backgrounds. Yet, any solid background color I choose appears as a gradient fading from left to right. Am I missing something? Is there any way to simply set up a solid color?

I've been using this for years now, and suddenly the background for month and week views display white (or black for dark theme) background. Is there a fix for this? Otherwise, I will have to uninstall. Thank you.

The app makes my google calendar vibrant to use and don't have to deal with monotonous white background. the devs are also super fast in fixing any issues..yay for keeping the code open-source, it's helpful to see the changes made

White background in week view :( Something is going on with google calendar because i had the colors extension as well and all my colors stopped working last week

I've been using this extension for almost a year now and it's great! It's a little hard to navigate at first but staring into the horrors of my college student schedule has never been better. The bug fixes are usually pretty quick and having new themes that highlight independent photographers is really cool, love it!

I have loved this extension for the year I've been using it! For some reason, recently, when I'm on the week or 4 day calendar view the image isn't showing behind the schedule. It's a big white box with the image only on the borders. But in the day or month view the image still shows.

Loved this extension but recently not the entire background is being display more specifically around the actual calendar. I see it only happens when I change it to week the background doesn't appear.

I loved this extension, but recently I noticed that the events at the top (all day events) have grey colored font instead of black. My events with specific times on the calendar still have the black text, but I can only get my all day events at the top to have black text when I remove the extension sadly

I've been using this extension for years. I have encountered a few bugs like the backgound lagging out in some parts.

Yes, I am having the exact same issue as the others describe. Since yesterday the squares are all bright white. The background works properly in all other modes EXCEPT month mode, which is what I use 100% of the time. Please fix as soon as you can so I can go back to the background I have come to love! Thanks.

Has been great, but today all the calendar squares are bright white and the image/color options are only effecting the border. Please fix!

Worked great until now, but today it shows the actual calendar area with white background, which is the worst.

The month option doesnt seem to work. It's just white. I have already set the same picture for every month and it still doesnt work.

I can't get the monthly option to work. It only uploads the January image.

12/04/2023 - Beginning a few days ago, minimized view of the month on the left panel of the calendar started displaying EACH day enclosed in the white circle with "today's" day enclosed in the blue. I reported it to Google thinking it's their bug. Today I am seeing all days in that view enclosed in grey circles and today's day is not even highlighted. I thought it's Google trying to fix something, but when (just for the test) I disabled this extension - left panel returned to normal view, only today's day is encircled in blue. But in general I love this extension, been using it for years. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I hope the fix for issue Kassia reported on Dec 1st 2023 would fix the issue I reported above. As of now - 12/20/23 issue I reported is NOT fixed.

In dark view now it makes it to where I cannot see my calendar days in the top left. I use to could but then a few days ago it turned to looking like I am almost to blackout bingo all except for the current day.

Really, really great!!! I had refused to use google calendar for YEARS, simply because it wasn't aesthetically pleasing (in my opinion). But now that I found this extension, google calendar is much nicer to look at and is the only calendar i use! Thanks

This is great! It helps a lot with everyday monotony and all. Just wish we could change text color as how we want it...

Hi Patrick. People are saying the extension isn't working because they cannot see the save button at the bottom of the screen which you need to zoom out to see. If you could format the display to be smaller so that the save button isn't hidden it should be easier for people to grasp
