• (2020-07-08) Hanyan Wang: It conflicts with the website douban.com. Enabling the extension could add a black background to the texts on douban. It also forbids me to click-and-enlarge pictures in douban.
• (2020-07-07) Da Yellow Sans Awesome: other authors allow control at 10% increments. And they work with HTML5 videos. I find Google's extension store to be a SEO challenge. I prefer the igrigorik version. And same interface on Firefox as well as Chrome. This extension only allows 25% control and is more distracting on the screen. I appreciate the effort, just not the implementation.

IMPORTANT: First, enable "Allow access to file URLs" under extension Details if you want to use the extension when you play video files in a browser tab after you've dragged the file from a My Drive folder and dropped it onto the Chrome Browser window.
