This extension ensures that only one tab in your browser can play audio at a time, automatically muting background tabs.
As is well known, Chrome-based browsers display a small speaker icon on tabs playing video or audio; clicking this icon quickly mutes the tab, and another option is the Ctrl+M shortcut.
However, neither method is intelligent enough—sometimes you need only the active tab to produce sound, with other tabs automatically muting when you switch away. This extension achieves that automation.
